As someone who's lost family members in Auschwitz, with sephardic jewish ancestry, I'm deeply ashamed of the way their suffering is weaponized to justify a genocide. Let it be clear, here we stand against islamophobia and racism unconditionally. When we said "never again", we meant it. No one is free until everyone is free. I will confront those who spread genocidal propaganda. I will stand with the oppressed even if I must do it against my own family. Because the Palestinian people and too many others do not have the luxury to even live in peace... So I will use my privilege to do the right thing. I hope you will too.
