Okay so I have aphantasia, and cannot visualize anything. WHICH NORMALLY ISN’T A BIG DEAL, as I can think through visual information verbally, even though I don’t “see” it.

Playing DND is a huge part of my life, though, and sometimes it’s tough not being able to see characters that only exist to myself and a few others. That is until my best friend DREW my favourite character for me. She drew him exactly as I would have imagined, and it was such an incredible moment that I cried. It’s cool to see how my descriptions of things can translate to visuals regardless as well.

I just wanted to share. Art is such a beautiful thing, and I’m just feeling so incredibly grateful.
