if you play as a dude there should be an entire sidequest where preston garvey tries to explain why it's bad to murder civilians (if your intelligence is too high, he fails, because you're too good at coming up with a philosophical framework that justifies war crimes). if you play as a woman then putting on pants for the first time should have the same gameplay effect as taking buffout

also if you say anything about it they'll be like omg just let people enjoy things!!!!!! like sure ok yeah. but this character does not exist in a vacuum, they exist in a piece of media that is making political commentary, commentary that you are pretending doesn't exist by blorbofying him. it's still weird
