I used to think it was important to have common interests with the person that you are in a relationship with but now I think it is more important to be similar in other aspects. like how kind you are. how you treat the people you care about, how you treat strangers. how you deal with anger. how you deal with pain. and not necessarily dealing with all these things the same way but being perceptive enough to understand what action each situation calls for. it’s important for both people to be on the same page about what that action should be. it’s important to me to have that kind of synchrony.

I know God is real because I see Him in the small things: the way the sun rises and sets every day, the way birds know to migrate, our fingerprints, the way the leaves change colors, the way caterpillars turn into butterflies. Nature is too perfect to be created unintentionally.

Making a difference in the world does not have to involve something overwhelming massive. You don’t need to find the cure for cancer or completely put an end to world hunger. Making a difference in the world comes from many small acts of kindness, each and every day. It comes from shedding light onto the lives of others’. YOU can make a difference. You can.

december will be a month overflowing with God blessings, a season of divine revelations that will bring the closure your heart has been seeking as you prepare for the new year. it will be a month where God opens doors to new stages and opportunities you’re meant to walk through. trust in his plan— he’s about to move in ways you’ve been praying for. december will be a beautiful, God-ordained ending to 2024. pray, be still, and have faith.
