the way i fell… it was like defying gravity

proving all the rules of nature wrong

it was like falling upwards,

the rough slap of cloud nine

slowing you down as you sped up 

speeding up towards the earths stratosphere 

and moving so fast/ so far ahead, 

that in that moment-

you could turn back time 

it was like breathing underwater 

while you violently drowned

never learned to swim 

but became one with the ocean

finding a voice you never lost

screaming out in whispers 

so loud you don't make a sound

seeing everything through blinded eyes.

that was being in love

Words cannot express how excited I am for this Nov 3rd release. I went through a LOT and this project took forever to make, but also forever to decide to put out. Now I listen back and I'm like wow…. This is a game changer. I fall more and more in love with my music every day and more in love with my growth in my artistry. I TRY so hard and that's a big thing for me because sometimes I'm more afraid of success than I am of failure.  But it does her better… Because the JOURNEY to this project was definitely a humbling one. I'm now at a space where I grow more and more open with vulnerability everyday. Which means the next project is about to be everything. 

Focusing on the here and now though, I can't wait. every day I listen to myself on repeat, and I still can't decide on a favorite track. Each song tells a different story. And each hold a piece to my story. I can be real when I say all you have to do is listen once. And I really do ask that of you, just listen ONE time. It might just blow your mind.
