At my CORE I think I really believed he was going to reach out. Maybe a couple days would pass and I’d get a response. And an apology. And I’d work on not taking everything so personally and he’d work on being a little bit more empathetic.
But no. Just like everyone else. He realized I was not worth the effort of dealing with all my emotions. Of my nagging. He thought it was better to just be done with me. And I did most of the work. I made it easy for him. I really wish he didn’t message me back in December. After Tristan I would have forgot about him and just moved on.
I really thought he liked me. But you don’t treat the people you like like this. So I must have never mattered to him at all.
And to think I had a letter written out that I was gonna send him. As some sort of “final goodbye” but really in hopes that he would talk me. Which I now realize he wouldn’t. So it would have resulted in more pain for me.
I don’t even know why I’m so hung up over him. He wasn’t my boyfriend. He didn’t want to be my boyfriend. I wanted him to be tho. Some day. I liked him. And I thought it was mutual.
Why does everyone who says they like me and they’re not like the others end up hurting me?
Why can’t I just have someone like me?
