Suddenly, Im in love

Awooga! I like the thought of him doing it on autopilot >:) Maybe he's been more out of it recently, maybe it's a late-night stream, maybe he gets so caught up in sitting around nodding and humming while chatting with the others in-game that he completely forgets he's streaming, completely forgetting he's got a camera pointed at his face, that he's got thousands of people watching him. Leaning back in his chair, putting the pillow on his lap down on the floor or on his bed, hiking up one of the legs of his shorts, there's already halfway-faded scars on his thighs, maybe if you squint hard enough you can see them on the little cam. He's got that knife on his desk of course, flips it open, extends the blade, takes off the cap, whatever it is that he needs to do. He's staring at his Minecraft, nodding his mouse up and down occasionally, settling himself in a corner where nobody notices his little character going rigid. He hisses at the tip of the blade piercing the skin, the first sound he's made in a while, viewers' eyes jumping back to his camera, to the bead of blood just a few pixels big. Scar's brain starts swimming immediately of course, that relief he's been craving, a strange kind of faux-clarity rushing into his head like the first drag of a cigarette. Throws his head back and digs the blade in, blood springing up, undeniable now to anyone who looks at his cam. He just needs this so bad, it's not unusual for him to cut while in vc, and he keeps going until the blood drips down his thigh and onto the fabric of his chair cushion, until his hands start shaking and his breathing gets weird, the whirring from his oxygen tank a vertigo-inducing hum. Until he lifts his eyes and realises there's no lens cap on his camera, until he realises his mods are blowing up his messages. He gets blood on his mouse and keyboard trying to end stream.
