WILD HEARTS !

           “  this  ?  oh  ,  I  would  call  this  something  that  is  not  your  business.  “  he  scoffed  ,  unbothered  by  the  other’s  presence  although  he  did  prefer  if  he  was  left  alone.  “  didn’t  want  to  sound  rude.  “  maksim  added  as  the  last  bits  of  humanity  were  tugging  him  to  apologize  for  his  wrong  wordings.  that  seemed  to  happen  quite  a  lot.  “  what  are  you  reading  ?  “ 

           “  you  do  consider  yourself  a  smart  one  ,  don’t  you  ?  “  his  eyebrows  risen  at  the  other  ,  his  hands  holding  a  bunch  of  little  coins  he’d  taken  off  the  female.  they  were  not  her  property  though  left  on  their  own  ,  just  as  nothing  would  happen  ,  was  the  perfect  recipe  for  a  disaster.  their  origin  was  out  of  this  planet  and  that  information  reached  only  a  few  ,  including  maksim.  he  was  there  to  protect  ,  this  was  what  he  knew  the  best.  “  what  were  you  trying  to  do  with  them  ,  dear  ?  “ 

           “  I  ,  once  ,  broke  into  sharp  pieces.  “  male  started  ,  reminding  himself  of  such  tragic  story  he’d  been  through  mentally  ,  and  physically.  learning  about  his  past  and  origin  was  never  going  to  be  nice  ,  and  he  was  aware  of  that  ,  though  the  results  of  the  whole  search  seemed  like  the  problem  which  he  couldn’t  tackle  on  his  own.  but  he’s  always  been  alone.  “  I  expect  someone  else  to  hurt  their  hands  on  my  edges  as  they  put  me  back  together.  this  is  just  how  it  works.  “

           “  trust  me  ,  alcohol  is  the  last  thing  which  will  sort  your  problems  right  now.  “  his  voice  rather  tough  as  he  tried  to  change  the  female’s  mind  over  certain  things  she  would  regret  in  the  long  run.  though  it  was  none  of  his  business  ,  maksim  felt  like  he  needed  to  say  that.  ironically  they  were  set  up  in  a  bar. 

           “  who  or  what  are  you  exactly  ?  “  rising  his  eyebrow  upwards  ,  maksim  was  slightly  skeptical  of  the  other  one.  being  wary  was  a  part  of  his  dna  at  this  point  ,  and  anything  he  didn’t  know  ,  including  people  and  all  sorts  of  creatures  of  this  world  ,  was  something  to  be  cautious  of  from  the  start.  “  did  anyone  send  you  ?  how  do  you  know  I  live  here  ?  “  asking  so  many  questions  wasn’t  going  to  help  his  case  at  all  ,  though  he  tried  anyways. 

           “  everyone  I  touch  gets  hurt.  “  male  started  ,  taking  a  strong  sip  off  his  glass  filled  with  smoked  whiskey  which  he  truly  loved  ,  and  drank  nearly  each  night.  “  but  I  can’t  stop.  I  touch  ,  I  touch  ,  I  touch...  “  continuing  ,  he  started  to  point  at  his  arm  ,  giving  himself  slight  touches  as  if  that  gesture  was  going  to  emphasize  his  words.  “  why  can’t  I  ever  stop  ?  “

            “  where  do  I  even  start  ?  “   he  knew  that  the  moment  would  come  when  someone  would  begin  to  ask  questions  about  things  he  truly  wished  he  had  forgotten  about  and  left  to  die  in  the  past.  truth  was  a  little  different  and  those  memories  would  constantly  revisit  him  in  his  dreams  ,  and  now  -  reality  ,  too.  “  it  was  so  long  ago...  do  you  really  have  to  know  all  this  ?  are  you  writing  a  book  about  me  ?  “ 

            “  I  think  we  might  be  lacking  some  sorts  of  understatement  here  because  neither  of  us  knows  what  we  are  on  about...  “  his  expression  rather  confused  as  he  turned  to  take  a  quick  glance  at  the  other.  he  knew  that  they  were  onto  something  ,  but  couldn’t  figure  out  what  exactly.  letting  out  a  loud  sigh  ,  maksim  risen  his  arm  to  scratch  his  temple.  “  okay  ,  from  the  beginning.  what  did  you  mean  ?  elaborate  ,  engage  me  into  the  subject.  I’m  willing  to  understand.  “ 

             “  connecting  two  and  two  together  ,  this  should  be  a  lot  of  fun.  depends  which  side  you’re  looking  from  though.  “  spending  most  of  his  life  fighting  ,  maksim  could  smell  any  type  of  potential  danger  from  miles  apart  ,  including  this  time.  even  if  it  would  be  considered  rather  mild.  “  I’m  happy  to  take  you  for  a  ride  ,  but  I  just  need  you  to  say  that  you  actually  want  to.  “ 

             “  are  you  sure  this  is  the  right  way  to  go  ?  “  male  asked  ,  probably  for  one  hundred-ish  time  at  this  point.  wandering  around  in  a  seemingly  the  same  environment  made  him  realize  they  were  going  in  circles  right  now  ,  and  it  only  gave  him  a  headache  ,  regretting  that  he  let  her  lead  the  way.  “  look  ,  according  to  any  sort  of  navigation  possible  we  should’ve  arrived  there  over  half  an  hour  ago.  I  think  we  might  be  lost.  “ 

             “  look  ,  it  might  seem  like  the  world  is  crushing  right  now  ,  and  I  believe  that  you’ve  got   a  solid  reason  to  think  that  way  -  we  all  do  after  all  -  but  don’t  you  think  that  you’re  going  a  tiny  bit  too  extreme  with  this  ?  “  his  eyes  wandering  around  the  room  as  he  tried  to  control  the  situation  ,  though  speech  wasn’t  something  he  had  mastered  over  these  years.  letting  himself  fall  onto  the  couch  ,  a  long  sigh  escaped  his  mouth  and  his  attention  was  back  on  the  female.  “  all  I  mean  is  that  there  is  a  solution  to  this  mess  ,  and  we  should  sit  down  and  just  brainstorm  this.  “ 

              “  is  this  your  rather  poor  attempt  to  pity  me  ?  “  lifting  his  head  up  ,  he  slowly  shifted  his  glance  towards  the  other  ,  his  body  turning  along  with  him.  he  was  used  to  those  reactions  whenever  someone  somehow  would  get  to  his  ID  ,  however  his  reaction  would  always  remain  the  same.  “  yes  ,  I  am  old.  and  you  are  to  nosey.  “
