it has been a long while since i’ve been on tumblr but i’m happy to be back. i will be writing mostly serious-themed rps, and love in depth plots. i am also open to ships if they are fleshed out over time, and plotted ooc.

𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 . . . a stoic. she'll respect you if you have respect for yourself. she will like you if you can make her genuinely laugh. she's rough on the outside, and possibly worse on the inside but she has moments of being tender and loving. she cares for her friends, and for those who watch her back. she cares about loyalty, but not blindness. she enjoys the quiet, and nature, and wishes things were different. she always has the feeling that she's going to die soon, but doesn't particularly believe in luck. she isn't spiritual. she's cautious, but wild, and dangerous. she rarely hesitates. she's a good reader of people, and isn't easily manipulated.

𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹𝒀 ;

𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑,      

nanih was  raised  on  the  great  plains  of  west  elizabeth.   she  was  the  first  of  two daughters  belonging  to  the  owanijla  people  who  formerly  resided  between  strawberry  and  tall  trees.   their  eradication  took  place  when  nani was  a  little  girl.   what  remained  of  her  people  were  to  be  transported  east,   but  their  final  days  would  behind  the  walls  of  fort  riggs,   an  old  military  fortress.  she  was  taught  how  to  read  and  write  english,  told  to  abolish  any  remembrance  of  her  former  life.  when  winter  came,  her  mother  died  slow  of  illness . when  the  women,  elders,  and  children  began  to  die  ---  those  who  were  able,  began  to  fight  with  the  soldiers  about  the  mistreatment  of  their  people.   one  frostbit  night  the  owanjila  men  were  shot,  beaten,  and  killed  for  standing  up  to  the  soldiers.  most  of  the  people  were  killed.  the  buildings  raged  with  fire.   nani and  her  sister  hid  for  most  of  the  night  until  the  soldiers  fled.  they  too,   ran.   they  went  to  the  place  they  would  be  safe.   a  broken,  lonely  tree  growing  in  the  middle  of  the  great  plains.   they  stayed  there  beneath  the  branches  all  night,  shivering  cold.  

nani began  her  life  with  fire  and  death,   but  she  swore  she  would  always protect  her  sister.   they  took  to  the  streets  of  blackwater.   nani stole  food  and  water  for  them  to  survive  off  of.   began  stealing  people’s  clothing,  jewelry,  and  goods  to  resell  for  money.  she  was  able  to  take  care  of  herself  and  her  sister.   she  tried  to  hunt,  when  she  was  able  but  she  was  always  a  very  small  child.   only  when  lawmen  spotted  her  stealing  one  day  did  their life on the streets end. they were sent to an assimilation school. atomi had always been more docile and obedient, but her sister would often run away, only to be dragged back to the school. only when they were a little older were they able to have a chance to return to like minded people. they were taken to live with the wapiti. who were not completely dissimilar to their own family, but nani still found it difficult to stay put.

while  nani's  sister,  atomi,   took  well  to  the  new  family  ---  nani did  not.  she  remained  a  troublesome  girl.   she   always  took  off,   disobeying  the  advice  given  by  the  older  members  of  the group.   she  would  always  be  known  as  a  wild  child.  and  when  she  was  old  enough,   she  took  the  world  on  her  own.  atomi  began  following  the  steps  of  elders,   becoming  a  translator  and  speaker  for  the  people  against  the  states  soldiers  who  threatened  their  ways  of  life.   she  did  what  she  could  without  violence,   often  traveling  across  the  states  to  speak  on  the  matter  of  starvation  and  murder  of  the  native  people.  nani abandoned  a  lot  of  the  peacekeeping  mentality  and  while she became an  excellent  tracker beneath some of the members,    she became an  even  better  thief. 

she  fell  in  with  a  gang  of  thieves  at  a  young  age.   the  men  were  said  to  have  run  under  a  man  named  james  langton,   however, she did not stay with him or his group long. she ventured to start her own, taking with her two of the langton boys: jameson walker, and desmond dermot. she continued to keep in touch with her sister but correspondence became less with the more nani moved. she picked up several more members as the months & years went on. her relationships with each member will be explained below and with headcanons.

during  the  early  summer  of  1899,   nani was  to  meet atomi in  blackwater.   atomi  having  spoken  at  a  political  meeting  about  the  mistreatment  of  native  people  in  st.  denis.   she  was  to  come  back  by  ferry  and  asked  her  sister  to  meet  her  and  escort  her  back  north.    nani obliged,  always  worrying  when  her  sister  traveled  alone.   however,   when  the  ferry  made  it  to  blackwater,  and  atomi  stepped  out  onto  the  docks  ---  she  was  shot  by  a  spray  of  bullets.  what  is  now  known  as  the  blackwater  massacre  took  many  lives  of  those  within  the  town.  as of now . . . the current state of miss blackstar is mixed with rumor. while the gang has not fully disbanded, many of the members have been sighted separate from nani or each other. although it is a mystery as to why. however, there's rumor that a train had just been hit outside of blackwater and the gang meets their description. are those following blackstar back into the fold? are they looking for the next big score?

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑 𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐆 ;

members consist of : Nani Blackstar herself, Jameson Walker, Desmond Dermot, Ariesa Esperanza, Eliza West, Mercy Givens, Isabelle May Carter, & Josephine Delphie. many of the members come and go as they please, but have ways of keeping in contact with one another through aliases. when they do travel together it's by horseback, or small wagons. they don't usually sleep all together under the stars ( ariesa refuses to not have a bed ) so they are usually close enough to a town or hostel.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠 ;

nani has a particular vendetta against the van der linde gang on account of the blackwater massacre. more specifically the descriptions of dutch van der linde, micah bell, bill williamson, and john marston as well as a few others. she has limited knowledge of most of the gang, including arthur morgan, and hosea matthews. she won't call after them outright but it is a plot device i'd love to use.

𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐒 ;

verse i : main . . . this is set after the blackwater massacre and in the year of 1899. most prompts and rp will take place during this time. verse ii : before . . . this takes place before the blackwater massacre. at the height of verse iii : 1910s . . . takes place within or after the epilogue. it is not long before the end of nani blackstar. she is perused by bounty hunters in most states and has taken refuge in the untamed west. she tends to shoot on sight, so be warned.

modern : nani lives in the western states and runs a biker club with her friends. borderline a sons of anarchy verse. the last of us : she can be put in seattle or salt lake city. fallout : believe it or not, nani is also a fallout oc. she's who i had in mind as courier six, so she will remain their for any fallout lore ! this will be expanded on in headcanons and possibly an au dump. but she is a lonesome courier in the mojave. usually a faceless entity within the desert. bg3 : coming soon the witcher : coming soon
