My gift to myself and the prize for my hat collection: this gorgeous Dobbs Fifth Ave fedora from Bates & Thigpen in Baton Rouge where scenes from one of the Bonnie and Clyde movies were shot. The owner talked with us for nearly 30 mins recallung stories from his store becoming a film set, various hat history, and was even so kind to get me water cause he saw I was caughing badly. It was one of those exceptional experiences.
