blossoming!
The gardening club had split up about a half hour ago, but that didn’t mean Shiemi was going anywhere anytime soon. She was nervous about being in this giant, crowded school and she didn’t know where any of her friends were. It was an an impromptu decision for her to begin attending Tancho Academy, mostly decided by her mother.
She made it through the school days alright. Shiemi was okay with not saying much in classrooms filled with strangers (who looked at her a little oddly what with Nii-chan on her shoulder). She wasn’t as shy as she used to be, but she was in no way comfortable here yet — especially without Rin and Yukio. She missed them and her fellow exorcists-in-training greatly, and wondered when she’d see them again.
Presently, Shiemi was on her knees, tending to the school gardens all on her own. She felt at peace and relaxed. Nii-chan was hopping happily around the flowers as Shiemi began to replant a few with fresh, healthy soil directly from her family’s shop.
The blonde turned and reached for the soil, spade in her other hand, when she saw someone accidentally stepping on the bag.
“Um, excuse me-!” Shiemi quietly began. “You’re stepping on my bag of soil-!”
