365/365 January 2, 2018 I DID IT. I DID IT. Today redeemed the start of 2018. Yesterday was a bad day (thank u, full moon in Cancer) but after a long day at work—which ended with my supervisor submitting her recommendation to my grad school applications!—I had a fantastic therapy session, helped my parents with moving stuff, came home to a hysterical letter spent from my biking babes, and spent a quiet night FaceTiming those babes and writing thank you notes. This new year I’m going to slow down and work on self awareness and compassion. I’m going to exercise mindfulness and tuning in to what *I* want and need. It’s been quite a year but I know in my bones I’ve grown and developed and yeah. I dunno! I’m ready to put the next foot forward and continue forward. Hopefully this year will bring more growth and positivity, self love and care, and an acceptance into grad school. And as fun as this 365 was, it took away from how glued I usually am to my notebook and journaling and drawing. I’m ready to get back to pen and paper. Adios, 365. Maybe I’ll do you again another year.

364/365 January 1, 2018 Happy new year! Today was low key. Mostly working through seasonal affective disorder. Watched a lot of tv. Made some soup. Cried a bit.

363/365 December 31, 2017 One last smarmy bathroom selfie for 2017! Why didn’t I take more pictures of the last day of the weirdest year! We rang it out at the Fairmount with good friends and good food. Here’s to 2018.

362/365 December 30, 2017 Went to Toledo so see the little cousins and the grandparents. It’s always stressful to see Grandmama and Grandaddy. Gaslighting and dementia...we usually leave with a sour taste in our mouth. But family is family. No matter how much they can suck.

361/365 December 29, 2017 Coffee in Kent and headed back to Cleveland to spend the afternoon with Chrisoph. We hit up Happy Dog, Music Saves, and treated the fam to Choolah. We said our goodbyes (as he leaves early tomorrow) and I had a couple drinks at the Fairmount with Vic, Ev & Carla!

360/365 December 28, 2017 Took a mental health day and SLEPT IN. Headed to Kent for time with Vic’s parents & sweet pups. We fell asleep eating movies in front of the fire.

359/365 December 28, 2017 Another day at work. V disassociative. Catered well into the night. No pictures taken.

358/365 December 26, 2017 I have never been so reluctant to go into work. I took no photos. I don’t feel great.

357/365 December 25, 2017 Merrrry Christmas!! Allie and I got no sleep and at 915 piled into the car with Chrissy and went to Elyria to open stockings and have Xmas brunch with Shugi and the rest of the fam. Went back to Cleveland, made collages with Al and FaceTimed my people, opened gifts, and had a spectacular dinner Sally made. Today was weird and amazing and even surreal. A lot of tears were shed: a majority from grandma who is in so much pain and at a difficult time in her life, aaaaaand from me, completely surprised and overwhelmed by how gracious and generous my parents were this Christmas—not just towards me, but to everyone and especially each other. I’m so blessed to have such a fantastic, loving, hilarious, generous family. Very blessed indeed.

354/365 December 22, 2017 Took the day off and boy was it amazing. Celebrated Christmas with Vic, art museum with Christoph, happy dog, Christmas shopping, nap, happy dog again with high school buds! Amazing.

353/365 December 21, 2017 Boiz night! Dinner at Superior Pho, Mahalls for bowling, and secret Santa!

Staff holiday party, ran all around Cleveland playing Santa and dropping off Christmas presents to clients, and celebrated Chrissy’s return by seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

I had a really really really really really horrible, triggering wellness apt. It left me manic, shaking, and anxious. So much so that blood vessels broke in my eye due to my body’s way of reacting to extreme stress. I have a picture but I’m writing this on Thursday and it has spread soooo great great.

350/365 December 18, 2017 It’s my dads bday! We went to velvet tango room for the best manhattans in Cleveland, bar cento (Mom and dads first time), and Mitchell’s. A+ Cleveland evening celebrating my favorite dude of all time.
