The picture isn't the best but I just needed to capture this moment :D Two 17 year olds going "grocery" shopping for drinks and candy and then walk about 200 meters across the street with the shopping carts... Hot chocolate season started again! :) And we found mini marshmallows - I don't know how I was ever able to drink hot chocolate without before I went to America! :) (at Obenende)

Monday morning. 42 degrees. Fog with low visibility, maybe 100 meters. The first day after fall break. No school in the first 4 periods = going in at 12. Everybody else is in school. Silence. The best time to go on a walk! ❤️🍁 (at Obenende)

It was so good to spend some time with these four amazing guys tonight! I went shopping with them for souvenirs and then us five went out to have supper at a restaurant. Afterwards, I translated for my grandpa and them in one final discussion. It was great seeing them again this week and I can't be more thankful that God put these amazing people in my life! There is so much I can learn from them and I am very grateful that this friendship has lasted for three years I guess now! To the next three! Now it's my turn to come visit you in Uganda again! :) 🇺🇬 (at Bellini)

So glad and thankful I was able to catch up with this girl tonight! It was the first time "seeing" her since I left in June, so you can probably imagine how glad I was! There was so much to talk about, also just random things that happened in our lives. @hannahw_4 , thank you for being such an amazing friend and that we're able to keep this friendship going!
