Cause wdym a life threatening train thrills these rich people?? Instead of fixing their designs THAT ENDANGERS PEOPLE LIVES, they romanticize it and even advertise it as a good tourist attraction.

I'm not actually hating Hanoi, Vietnam. They do what they need to do to survive and boost their tourism but its ridiculous that many people actually enjoy it?? Like its a train?? How sheltered can you be to romanticize a problem many south east asian countries face??

Coming from someone who is also inches away from a train station(PNR) and has experienced countless "almost got hit by a train" moment.

I might indeed be the only one but I just can't understand why other people enjoy this type of attraction that killed many people before because of its design(I'm not only pertaining to the train station in Vietnam). I feel like the only acceptable reason for me is if you genuinely have an interest in trains, other than that why?? Why go there?

But that also got me thinking about how nice it would be to be one of them whose house won't shake every hour because of the incoming train, and how anxious it can make you if an accident may occur. Yes, PNR is currently closed but I have experienced a shaky home all my life, you can't expect me to just forget the feeling.

How all of our female heroes are limited to helping the revolution or fighting(not that I'm invalidating female heroes, mabuhay ang kababaihan!) yet we have such a diverse collection of male heroes who use pens or swords.

How we don't really get that much perspective from women during the times in which they're one of the most exploited in. I dont know maybe I am just really uneducated about female-written philippine stories but even if there is, the fact that it's not taught in schools and is "less popular" says a lot already.

And how all of our insights (that are taught in schools) regarding the Philippines' women's history is through the lenses of a man and not a woman is diabolical.

I really am just thinking of how many Jose Rizal we could have had if women aren't restricted by social expectations/gender roles. Actually even having Jose Rizal as the bar is excruciating because we might have had someone who was far greater than him if we just treated our girls right.
