Lost In Love

Very soon!! It's been hectic with finals and the holidays! 

Sorry I haven't been updating everyone. I meant to write more this weekend but my grandma just passed away yesterday.

You look out the window, watching the cars pass by. Logan is driving and the car is silent, besides the radio playing. You’re about to meet Logan’s parents for the first time and you’re so scared. You’ve never had a boyfriend to meet his parents so this is new territory for you. Logan continuously tells you that they’ll love you but you see so many flaws in yourself that you think they definitely will find a flaw in you not to like you.

“Babe, you okay?” Logan asks.

“I think you.”

“Good,” he says as he parks the car on the curb. “Because we’re here.”

Logan quickly gets out of the car and comes around to open your door. He helps you out of the car and holds your hand tight. “I promise they’ll love you,” he says. “I keep telling them how amazing you are. You have nothing to worry about.”

You take a deep breath and walk up to the front door with Logan. You let go of his hand when he rings the doorbell because you don’t want his parents to think you’re that attached by the hip, PDA couple. 

Suddenly the front door opens and you see a beautiful older woman with brown hair and brown eyes standing in front of you. She hugs Logan and then opens her arms to hug you.

“And this must be (Y/N),” she says. “I’m Pam, it’s so nice to meet you. Logan’s been talking so much about you that I just couldn’t wait until we finally meet." 

Pam leads you and Logan into the house and to the kitchen. “Jeff they’re here,” she calls out.

Logan’s dad soon emerges the kitchen and shakes your hand. “It’s so nice to finally meet you (Y/N). Logan has told us so much about you." 

“Good things I hope,” you say and smile at Logan. He gives you a warm smile and wink, indicating that you’re doing a good job. 

The four of you eat dinner in the dining room. This isn’t as bad as you thought it would be. Jeff is asking you about school and what your plans are for the future and Pam asks about your parents and your heritage.

“Presley really wanted to meet you,” Pam says. “She had to work on a project for school with her friends tonight.”

“Aww that’s too bad,” you say. “Logan tells me her and I watch a lot of the same TV shows and that we would have a lot in common." 

“Well you’re welcome here anytime sweetie.”

“Thank you,” you smile. “And if you ever need someone to pick Presley up from school or to watch her, I don’t mind. You can just call me whenever.”

You feel Logan’s hand rubbing your thigh under the table. You look at him and he’s smiling at you. Pam and Jeff get up to take the dishes to the kitchen, leaving you and Logan alone at the table.

“See, and you thought they wouldn’t like you,” he says. “They love you.”

You lean over and peck Logan’s lips. “I guess I was just nervous because when you meet the parents, it takes the relationship to the next level. It’s either a hit or miss.”

“And you were definitely a hit tonight,” he leans in and kisses your temple.

You stand up and head into the kitchen to help Pam wash the dishes. The two of you are alone in the kitchen and suddenly you start to feel nervous again. The only sound in the room is the water running.

“You make Logan really happy,” she finally says. “I’ve never seen him like someone as much as he likes you.”

“Thank you,” you say as you blush. “He makes me happy too. You raised an incredible guy.”

“He was a tough one to raise, but I know I did something right when I see him care for someone so much.” Pam turns off the sink and faces you as you continue to dry the dishes. “(Y/N) I want you to feel like a part of this family now, because you are. I really meant it when I said you’re welcome here anytime. I don’t want you to feel intimidated by us or anything." 

“I really appreciate that Pam, thank you.”

After dessert, Pam brings out the baby pictures just to embarrass Logan. “Mom,” he whines, “Seriously? You’re going to show (Y/N) naked pictures of me in the bathtub?” 

You laugh as you flip through all the pictures. “You were such a cute baby,” you say. “Pam do you mind if I make a copy of a few of these?”

“Go right ahead,” she said.

“Oh my parents were wondering if you guys are free next week for dinner,” you say. “They’d love for us to all get together one night.”

Pam and Jeff agree and start talking about when and where everyone should meet up.

“Wait,” Logan interrupts. “We’ll all go to dinner on one condition… If your parents bring me baby pictures of you. Because you have blackmail for me, now I need some blackmail for you.”

“Logan, relax,” you say, trying to calm him down. “Everything will work out, I promise you. You just have to be patient.”

“I can’t (Y/N),” Logan says. “I’m just so frustrated. I’m so sick of this same town, this same place, and these same face.”

You look down at the floor, wondering if Logan’s comment was referring to you as well. Logan’s been frustrated with the future of Big Time Rush. He doesn’t know what’s going to happen once the season is over and he’s freaking out. Big Time Rush was his big break into the entertainment industry, and it’s hard for him to accept that fact that sometimes one chapter in your life has to close for another to open.

You and Logan have been kind of dating on and off. You’re really, really good friends and you’ve shared a few kisses and admitted to each other that you like one another, but it’s just been left at that. You’re still not sure if Logan wants to commit to a relationship, and right now is not that time to worry about that.

He stands up from the couch and walks towards you. “I’m sorry,” he says. “I wasn’t talking about you (Y/N). I’m just so frustrated. I just want to get in the car and drive away. Will you come with me?” Logan pulls you into a hug and you lean your head against his chest while his chin rests on the top of your head. “It doesn’t matter where we go, as long as it’s me and you.”

“Logan, it’s late,” you say. “I don’t know.”

“You’ll be safe, you’re with me. Don’t worry.”

You couldn’t say no to that. You always feel safe with Logan. He grabs his car keys and you follow him to his car. He doesn’t hesitate to leave, as the car is already moving when you’re just fastening your seat belt. He drives into the moonlight and you have no idea where he’s going. The car is in cruise control. 

The first ten minutes of the car ride are silent, but you don’t mind it. You understand Logan is in a tough place and you just want him to relax. He slowly moves his hand across the shift knob and places his hand on top of yours that’s resting on your lap. He plays with your fingers a little bit until you turn your palm up and intertwine your fingers with his. You look over at Logan and he’s smiling as he watches the road in front of him. 

“Thanks for coming with me,” he says.

“Anytime,” you say. “I’m always here for you.”

He gives your hand a little squeeze and takes a deep breath. “(Y/N), I have to tell you something.”

“Okay.”

Logan pauses, trying to find the right words before he speaks. “You came and opened my heart to everything I never thought I’d do and everyway and it’s all because of you. You’ve made me a better person and I never thought I’d want to be in a serious relationship. The record label has told us to try and not be in a relationship so the fans wont go away but I’m so done with what they say and what they do… It’s just me and you. I want us to be together.”

You just look at Logan and smile, not believing the words coming out of his mouth. “Together?” You finally ask. “Like as in a couple?”

“Yeah,” he smiles. “I really like you (Y/N). I have since the first time I ever saw you.”

You lean over and give Logan a long, lingering kiss on the cheek. He slowly pulls over on the highway and puts the car in park. 

“What are you doing?” You ask. 

“This.” Logan grabs your face with both his hands and pulls you into a kiss. Your lips seem to fit perfect, like the two of you are meant to be. The kiss is slowly and romantic and it takes you to another world. It’s one of the best kisses you’ve ever experienced. Logan slowly pulls away and you look into each others eyes for what seems like forever. He then kisses your forehead and starts the car again, heading back on the highway.

“So,” you start to say, “Where are we going?”

The lights are beating down on the four boys while they sit in a studio and do an interview. This is your first time seeing your boyfriend Logan doing interviews. He invited you to New York with him for a few days while he promotes the new album. You’ve never been to New York so you were in awe by everything you see. 

You stand behind the camera, your eyes glued to Logan. You notice yourself smiling as you stare at him and wonder how long that smile’s been on your face. He makes eye contact with you and it causes you to blush.

“Kendall,” the interviewer starts to say, “You’re the only single one left in the group. Out of your three band mates, who do you think is the most romantic?” 

Kendall looks around at Logan, Carlos, and James and smiles with a mysterious look in his eyes. He pats Logan’s shoulder who’s sitting next to him. “This guy,” he says. “Logan hasn’t been in a relationship as long as Carlos and James but he comes up with the most romantic things to do with his girlfriend.”

“Can you fill us in on any of your tricks?” The interviewer asks.

Logan looks at you and smiles. “I just do anything and everything to make my girl happy,” he says. “I’ll make her a romantic dinner and set up the table with candles, or we’ll just cuddle and watch a movie. I actually brought her to New York with me. I’m going to take her out tonight so we’ll have some fun.” 

He winks at you and you can feel your cheeks turn red. This was the first time Logan talked about you in an interview. It was obvious through twitter and paparazzi pictures that you guys were together, but this kind of made it official. 

The rest of the interview, you didn’t even pay attention to what the guys were saying. You just continued to stare at Logan and wonder how you got so lucky to be with him.

“Hey,” he says. You didn’t even realize the interview was over. He wraps his arms around your waist and kisses you’re forehead. “How did I look?”

You laugh at his question, “You looked hot. I wish you were my boyfriend,” you tease. “I’d be all over you.”

He laughs and gently kisses your lips. “Are you ready for our date night?”
