unsure if i want to revamp/reboot christy or just add her to my multi over on anomaliae
Provided the forecast for Thursday and Friday is correct, I will likely write Christy things or at least get the ball rolling on revamping her.
Give this a like as a tentative plotting call?
I'll try to make time regardless, but staying home would really boost what I can do.

So, yesterday Dwight found half a joint in the parking lot, which is unfortunate, because, as it turns out, Dwight finding drugs is more dangerous than most people using drugs.

âWhat constitutes as âshadyâ to you?â Christy inquired with a furrowed brow. âLike, hypothetically, if I got my stuff from a nineteen year old in Indianapolis, is that shady?â There was very little her sister could say that would deter her from stopping. It was truly the only thing that kept her going in such a dead-end town. A lazy grin spread over the younger Henderson daughterâs lips. âI donât need to head out anywhere. I never do. I might be a stoner, but Iâm not irresponsible.âÂ
âIt would be shady if the guy would try to sell you other stuffâŚor he would put perservatives in it..you know often they spray the weed with hairspray so it looks like it didnât lose moisture.â She explained before taking another sip. â So..please be careful about your sources , okay? I donât want you to get hurt. I know i cant stop you from doing what you want to do but i just want you to be safe.â This was a statement someone would hear from their mom but she always had the tendency to treat her siblings like they were her kids..maybe itâs because she grew up so fast or maybe because she justâŚwanted them to be okay and not..end up like their parents..miserable and divorced.Â
âIâm not a total idiot, Alex. I know how to differentiate between good weed and bad weed.â Years of being hooked on the stuff made her savvier than most teenagers. Others would nervously meet their dealer in a parking lot. Christy just went up to his front door. She knew the questions to ask. A soft snort left her as she lulled her head to the side a bit. âListen, if itâs the weed that kills me, Iâd say thatâs a pretty good way to go. Beats whatever bullshit thatâs been going on around here.âÂ

âOn a scale of one to ten, how cool are you with weed? Follow up question. How cool are you with having your sister smoke weedâŚhypothetically, of course.â Christy was already high. Dustin was familiar with her habits, but she had yet to break the news to Alex. Part of her wondered how the Golden Henderson Girl would react.Â
She blinked as the other asked. Leaning against the counter behind her and takign a sip of coffee before answering. â I meanâŚ.Itâs your body. Personally i wouldnât do it. ButâŚas long as you donât get it from shady sources i think..i could tolerate it.â She didnât want to flat out say no because she knew it wasnât as horrible as people made it out to beâŚback at college a few jocks she met also smoked weed and they seemed..nice enough. â And Judging by your pupilsâŚyou smoked a little bit ago right? Just..donât drive. Iâll drive you wherever you need to go.âÂ

She wanted to bite back again. She wanted to make a snap about the flowers. She wanted to call him out for neglecting to stay in close contact with his kids. But, instead, she pursed her lips and stared at him. âWhat do you want?âÂ
âTo see you,â he said gruffly, âto see them. IâmâI messed up and I know that so Iâm here to make things right.â
âAnd how exactly do you plan on doing that? Showering the kids with gifts until they forget you left?â She asked coldly.
Your rules donât work! (Found an old promo of yours)
it probably has something to do with me changing my url from burncut to hendersis

Christy couldnât stop herself from shooting Claire a deadly glare. Yeah, her brother was a dumbass, but that was for her to call him. Not some prissy chick who barely knew her or her brother. âYeah, we actually live way out in farm country in cardboard boxes and wear clothes we find in the trash.â The sarcasm in her words was venomous. âQuit pointing that thing in my eyes, Standish. If Iâm blind and something comes out of the woods to attack us, weâre both dead.â Christy knew about the creepy things that lurked in the shadows of Hawkins. She didnât want to be like Barb Holland.
she huffs a half laugh out through her nose at the sarcasm then points the flashlight beam at the other girlâs feet instead. â as if you could protect us⌠itâs not like thereâs anything out here anyway. weâre probably loud enough to scare away any animals. â claire had already written off any whisperings of odd goings-on in hawkins as just conspiracy theorist junk. â are we supposed to be calling out his name or something? âÂ
Christy narrowed her eyes at Claire, her tongue quite literally in cheek. âSweetheart, Iâd do a better job at keeping us alive than you would.â She didnât need to get into the details, but Christy had a decent amount of experience in defending herself and others. She readjusted her grip on her flashlight. âBelieve what you want, but I know for a fact that thereâs some shit in this town that would kill us in a heartbeat.â She chewed at her cheek for a moment. âMaybe. But if someone or something took him, itâll hear us. And then weâre all screwed.â

Christy liked the late-night showings at the theater because the seats were typically empty. She always got baked before and usually brought in a joint to light up when it started wearing off. One can only imagine her disappointment when Andrew Clark strolled in. Had she been less stoned, she likely wouldâve left before the movie started playing. But, she was comfortable and the popcorn tasted so much better than usual. So, she stuck it out.
She was about as absorbed into the story as any stoned person could be. But truth be told, it was incredibly dull and sheâd forget it the next day. Her fingers were slowly slipping into the pocket of her coat to grab the joint when Andrew rose from his seat. She almost threw some popcorn at him, but he was acting a little too spooky for her liking. Maybe he was leaving and sheâd finally be able to smoke. But her hopes were quickly extinguished as she heard him call her name. Initially, she thought it was the film, but soon realized the voice was from behind her. If she was sober, she likely wouldâve rolled her eyes and ignored him. But, she was high and intrigued. So, she rose from her seat, clutching the popcorn bag to her chest. âListen, if this is some prank you and your buddies have planned, itâs kinda fucked up and super sketchy to do it this late at night.â But then she heard the same commotion, her brow furrowing as she stared at the door. âWhat the fuck is that?â
his eyes roll when christy suggests he might be trying to prank her. â itâs not. thereâs something â â just then she noticed the weird commotion outside. definitely not the usual mall sounds, even when it was at its busiest. â yeah, exactly. â blonde brows furrow in concern as he tries to think of a logical explanation for this. â you see anything weird on your way in here tonight? it looked pretty dead when i got here. â muscular arms cross in front of his chest.Â
An arm was wrapped protectively around the popcorn as she tossed a few pieces into her mouth. She mightâve been spooked, but she had munchies that only popcorn could satisfy. Her drug-addled brain filtered through her most recent memories, searching for some sort of clue as to what was happening. âTruth be told, Iâm a little high right now. I barely remember buying this popcorn...Iâm not even sure if I did buy it or if I snagged it out of the trash...â She explained with a vaguely apologetic look on her face. âWhat about you?â She questioned, tossing a few more pieces into her mouth. âSee anything weird?â

While Tommy wasnât the joker type, unless one was referring to the murderous clown, Christy was. She would constantly tease her brother and embarrass him among his friends. But always in a way that he could laugh about it later. With Tommy, she had a bit more ill-intent.
âEh. Crush. Burning hatred. Tomato, tomahto.â She waved her hand dismissively.
The burn on the joint hit her fingertips after a particularly long drag, prompting her to snuff it out and toss the remainder in her pocket. Sheâd add it to a bowl later. She pushed herself to stand, her hands burying into her coat as she exhaled the smoke.
âAm I not allowed to inquire about the triumphs of Tommy Milner? Câmon. You push any grandmas down some stairs recently? Youâve got a face like apple pie and an ass like it was cut from marble and a heart thatâs as ugly as the bubonic plague. Youâre an anomaly, sweetheart.â
â  If  you  hate  me,  you  sure  got  a  bad  way  of  showing  it.  â
A  shrug,  then  the  bottle  is  tossed  into  the  abyss  of  a  backyard.  He  was  just  about  ready  to  leave  now.  Tosses  cigarette  onto  the  deck,  snuffing  it  out  under  his  boot,  before  kicking  the  remnants  away.
â  What  do  you  want  me  to  even  say?  Do?  Take  you  on  a  joyride?  You  couldnât  handle  that  shit.  â
âItâs a unique approach. I donât hate most people the way I hate you.â
There was something to childish about his comment. While she was never sure how to press his buttons, he had to known how to press hers. She tossed him a smirk.
âYou donât know shit about what I can handle, Milner. Letâs go. Câmon. Youâre itchinâ to get out of here. I can tell.â She waved her hand broadly towards the stairs. âTake me on a joyride.â

Christy found it funny. Most every day, she was ignored by her peers. No one wanted to talk to the Loner Stoner of Hawkins High School. Sure, she was on half decent terms with a small handful of her peers, but no one paid her more mind than Tommy. And even if it was him retaliating against something she did, it was attention nonetheless. Maybe that was why she liked to push his buttons so much. Because then at least someone noticed her on some level.
âYou say that like itâs a bad thing.â Christy retorted with a raised brow. âI mean, you donât give me a whole lot to work with Thomas. Iâd rather hear some words come out of that handsome face of yours, but you wonât give me the time of day. It really breaks my heart.â She pouted playfully.
She batted away the cloud of smoke before replacing it with her own. âCâmon, sit down and chat. Tell me whatâs going on with the Hawkins Heartthrob? Itâs football season, isnât it? You winning lots of games or whatever? Iâd go to those, but Iâd probably spend the entire time looking at your ass.â She laughed shortly as she kicked out the plastic chair adjacent from her.
Tommy  wasnât  the  humorous  type.  He  especially  didnât  care  for  the  attempt  to  shower  him  with  backhanded  compliments.  He  downs  the  rest  of  the  bottle,  tossing  at  her.  Ashes  off  his  cigarette  wherever.Â
â  Sounds  like  you  got  a  crush.  â
He  stares  off  into  nothing.  The  backyard  was  pitch  black.  Just  like  the  corn  field.  He  knew  his  way  around  the  corn  field  no  matter  the  condition.Â
â  Whatâs  got  your  head  so  up  my  ass?  â
