My knowledge to start was tertiary. Most of my retained memories about Cletus and Carnage come more from animated and video game origins more than comics. Canon will be selective, and my blog will be most based in and around the areas and themes I’m familiar with while I recoup and regrow my knowledge of the character. Patience is requested for a time. Pls don’t come to me about plots and stuff from more recent comics (like since 2015) I am up to date on no Marvel stories whatsoever, this includes the King in Black and other symbiote based stories.

In the grand eye of creation, it was the enlightened man driven to madness at the realization that we were not but specks of dust upon the grand cosmology of all things. Stood trembling before the weight of towering gods. However, Cletus was not one of them, the weight of cosmic stance something lost upon the more simple almost animalistic drive of the killer.

Suspended by webs of crimson symbiote, Carnage hunches in the air at eye level, staring down a god and not even doing so much as blinking.

A giddy maddened cackle busts out in echoed tone from the symbiote horror, lording his lithe scabbing form over the much shorter Canadian. Soulless white eyes bore down like daggers, while teeth chatter in amusement like the same. Cletus isn't sure which part he finds more amusing.

Not since Silence of the Lambs has another human being been so visibly bound up, and right now, Cletus would give good old Hannibal the Cannibal a run for his money with how tightly he was bound. Sure, he could talk, but his jaw was set in such a way he couldn't even open his mouth enough to slip his tongue between, and every other part was wound up so tight he couldn't even wiggle himself around in the confines of the glass cell. What couldn't be risked was him cutting himself and getting the symbiote out so that he could wreak havoc all over again.
