out. well the good news is my pop ups now work thanks to @hellfirebound. the bad news is i feel like a damned idiot. 

out. so there is no way (that i could find) to create a new tumblr blog and have it be http instead of https. the issue with https is a lot of scripts used in my current theme (aka popups) won’t work because the source of them has http, which chrome identifies as “non-secure” and therefore won’t load them unless the person viewing the blog manually clicks a button allowing them to. so i’m forced to go back to a super old blog, delete everything (including unfollowing 600+ blogs), and then completely revamp it for my new blog. kill me. 

out. also i saw someone say that van helsing is awful because it’s “so canadian” and wtf? fuck you?
