Beat the Miami heat.

Yikes, a year and some without any updates. Sorry this is a bit of a rush job, but I wanted something here before the end of 2018. Is anyone still here? Well, to those of you who are (and also, anyone who’s ever sent an ask, answered or not): thanks for joining me on here and being so damn patient with me. I hope you’re all doing well.

As for me, I hope one day I find myself on a massive desert road, far from worry or responsibility.

The girl, huh.

Most people call her that now, but for the split second I knew her, I knew her as Donna. She had these huge, sad, sparkling eyes and an almost constant pout. I don’t think it was on purpose, she was just going through some shit. But when she smiled, she could light up a room.

Her voice was tired, kinda scratchy. Like she was sick. Hell, she probably was. Yet somehow she wasn’t unpleasant. No- she was calm and kind and I kinda felt like I had to protect her. Not cause I think she was weak, just… worn down.

So what I think of her is she was gone too soon.
