　" You're sexy when you lie, papi, " Valentino purrs as he wraps his lower set of arms around Vox's shoulders. "Perra estúpida probably thinks she'll still have a job in the morning. Make sure your little cameras are focused on her face when she comes in, I wanna watch her crumble a few more times after I fire her flat ass. "

"You're a fucking drama addict, you know that? I give you a dozen things for you to get off to and you always want more." He says all this with a grin on his face, reaching up to stroke one of the forearms draped over him, fingers gently tapping as Vox lets out a pleased static hum.

　Angel is hypersexual, super kinky, very sex positive, and almost entirely fucking uninterested in it. Technically, Angel is greysexual, but if asked, he prefers the label of asexual. He can have sex at the drop of a hat if he needs to, and he can make it convincing and enjoyable for everyone involved. But really couldn't care less.

　Not to say that he doesn't like sex, especially with people he cares about, but Angel needs like fifteen layers of buildup, the right setting, the proper music, and TONS of foreplay; spontaneous sex isn't real for him.

　He also doesn't really need to or enjoy reaching orgasm. " he's rambling, but it's definitely a nervous response. this whole thing fucking sucked.

　Another of Angel's hands flies to the tag on his throat, and he feels his breath start to speed up. He knows what the collar is, but can it hear him? If it can, Val will kill him. He might just throw him to Vox and let the psycho have his way for a weekend again. He wraps his hand around his throat to try and cover it up, just in case.

THE LONG AWAITED CONVERSATION. he was completely sober by this point, and frankly, he'd rather be plastered when having this inevitable conversation.

he pulls away entirely from angel, and straightens his body to indicate seriousness. but he does give out a breathy exhale, stretching his neck and giving it a crack before he allows himself to speak. this conversation could have a few different outcomes, and even the more favorable one made husk really, really nervous.

" i've, uh, been meanin' to talk to you about that. " he finds himself glancing around, unnerved by the idea that the radio - demon could be listening. he likely was, and that's what made husk even more nervous.

" alastor n' i . . . well. to put it plainly, we made another deal. and i lost. " he felt his hands take off his hat, running his fingers through his hair as he gave another exhale. this is a hard conversation, and he really doesn't want to be having it.

" to be real with you, angel . . . my leash is fuckin' choking me. he was going to let me go if i beat him in a fight. he DID let me go so i could prepare and i --- " he allows his elbows to rest on his knees and collapses his head in his hands out of embarrassment.

" i lost. i was so fucking close, kid. i could fucking TASTE my freedom. but he fucking GOT me. " he pauses again before speaking, trying to gather his words.

" n' he's noticed that i'm close to you . . . closer than he wants. he said i couldn't ever be near you without permission. i shouldn't even be with you here right now. but . . . there was a way out of that part of the deal. " a gulp, and he lifts his head enough to tug on his bowtie. a nervous response, no doubt.

　But then he hears it : a promise of freedom. Maybe not true freedom, but a chance at something better. His heart leaps to his throat and his blood runs cold. Angel shakes his head. " That... that's not funny, Husk, " he whispers. " Ain't nobody want my soul but Val. And even if someone else did, he'd never give it up. Not to Alastor, not to Lucifer himself. "

BUT HE DOES WANT IT TO MEAN SOMETHING. like, right now. but saying that is a little harder, so he tries to conjure up some sentences in his brain as he listens to angel speak. hearing the word boyfriend come out of angel's mouth was enough for the cat's heart to skip a beat or two, and his tail immediately flicked once the word slipped out of his mouth.

" that's not what i'm saying, " is all the cat could muster initially, squeezing angel's hand in return. he feels himself swallowing at a rather dry mouth, glancing down at their interlocked hands with his flush maintaining, just dissipated.

" i, um. i do want somethin' more serious with you, legs. " he's also not the jealous type. husk could separate work and emotions really well, he became a master at it when he had to make tough decisions as an overlord.

　Angel's smile falls entirely as he sits and listens. It's not because he dislikes the idea, but because of a pair of lingering questions in the back of his mind. Neither of them are free men, after all. Every decision they make has a consequence, especially when it's made selfishly, with no regard for anyone but themselves. Valentino won't be happy about it, but he can go fuck himself as long as Husk isn't in the studio. But...
