Sensitive ears flick as they blindly search for the source of noise. The giant mahogany doors leading into the Devils office hadn’t been oiled in millennia, their sonorous wailing familiar and no less irritating. The sorcerer’s words are ice cold and sarcastic.

File had several papers for Devil to sign and read over, though she tried not to interrupt him at what ever he was up to, she needed them to send out to suppliers. Not to mention she couldn’t just willy nilly work with budget, she needed approval.
After short knock, she let herself inside, wondering if she should get somebody to oil the creaking doors. It was a horrid sound. And then the smell. If she had a nose she would scrunch it up.
“Hello Boss, I will take those words as compliment, given from whom they came from and where we are.” She deadpaned, she was not that impatient. And the less spoken about her soul the better.
“I have few urgent papers that I need you to sign.” She tried not to think about, what in name of everything rotten he was doing.
Kingston had been a bit on edge that day considering that he was expecting a package of a very personal nature to arrive in the mail. He rarely had this type of delivery, only a couple times each year. However, he always wanted to be there for it, because god forbid, if anyone found out exactly what it was for, he'd never be able to live it down.
File was smirking, she got package from place, she truly loved and ordered specially from because it didn’t seem anybody else working in Casino would buy anything from them.
She was so sure nobody else would even dream about ordering things from that company, she didn’t even check name, when she picked up post from post office for Casino, and just went to her office with happy little smile. It was rather strange when the post officer asked her if she is there for all Casino mail, but what else was she there for? Dancing macarena?
So right now, she was in her office, tearing in the package, ready to marvel at the soft leathery … lace? She never ordered lace! What was this?!
File just stared at him, smirking. This was just so hilarious. What a smooth talker, he was. It was always pretty entertaining to see him stumble and try to cover his fuck ups.
“Hm, do I?” She tilted her head and threw the lacy thing back in the box.
“Say please if you really want it back so badly.”
He glared at her. “I don’ owe you any type of pleasantry, but whatever gets my lady her clothes back.” Dice rolled his eyes. “Please?” He refused to drop the act, his oh-so-important reputation was at stake.
File took off one of hers gloves, showing off her claws; perk of butchered demonic possession and reason why her gloves were so thick compared to other ladies around. She started to trace the lace with her finger, ready to tear it up.
“Hm, I think not.” She looked at Dice with small smirk. “You know one of my vices is extreme curiosity and you asking for this lacy monstrosity just makes me even more curious, who is the lucky person to get it. Maybe I will monitor future parcels more, you know, as is my job and will only accept payment in information.” She spoke evenly but with cruel undertones.

I writing evil or nearly evil characters more fun than writing good guys. I’m sick of feeling like people are going to judge me for my characters. I have a right to rp what I want and explain my characters actions, but not try to justify them. Because I know why a character acts a certain way doesn’t mean I think they are excused. The world isn’t black and white.
