he picked up his own pencil once more, drumming it lightly against the wooden desk. âlook, weâre going to put these textbook skills theyâre teaching us into action. see, iâm supposed to be studying distraction tactics, but why not study them in real-time,â he bites his lip, facing back towards the librarian for a moment. âi know you could get it in your sleep, but iâve heard that the librarian is into some crazy shit, caroline,â he mutters, hoping that the librarian isnât catching any of their conversation. âi want to see what sheâs got hidden in her most prized possession, maybe a couple of laser tools, a pair of handcuffs, and some other handy-dandy gadgets.â
âyou sound like youâre trying to convince a professor of why you should be able to do this. you do realize that iâm in the library to do some actual studying for an actual test that sadly, wonât be graded by you, right?â caroline laughed softly, looking at the librarian. she let out a sigh and nodded. âfine, go distract her with that pretty little smile of yours and iâll swipe her ugly purse. by the way, iâm keeping the handcuffs.â why not, she knew that sheâll have fun and a little time off from studying couldnât hurt, right?
