Hello

Hello friend. Since it's kinda late, and the people I like to talk to are usually sleeping, I decided to use your services again. I hope you don't mind.

I spent my Friday evening churning out code (early part) and lying on the floor (latter part). I had a friend over, there wasn't enough alcohol to make (me) drunk, but just enough to keep me awake, I guess. 

He's a year younger than me, and we're both in computing science. It amazes me how our personalities are very alike. I guess that's why I ended up in comp sci. I feel like I'm his mentor most times, heh.

I'm glad that he understands...that I hate it when people tell me I'm quiet. I already know that. In a group of people more talkative than me, I really have nothing to say. Sometimes I just can't keep up, so I just listen. Sometimes, I get singled out: "Daphne, you're really quiet. What do you think about so and so?" while I answer the thing in one sentence and they all go back to talking. I'd really rather just not talk...most times, I just count the minutes until I can leave. (I feel bad for saying that, but it's true. Gosh, I feel so antisocial.)

On the bright side, I'm pretty talkative around people I know well. I just...don't know...is being quiet such a bad thing?

I can't wait until Summer break. 4 months of not commuting to the mountain at 7 am... One online course... Gaming until the early hours of the morning... Getting to see my boyfriend more than once a week... Sleeping in... 

Am I reaching my breaking point here? or am I just tired?

I feel like I shouldn't be venting but...still?!

Whatever. I'm so angry, it hurts.

It didn't feel like two years, time goes by so fast!

All I have to say is, I'm really happy right now, (I hope he is too).

Today, I gave him a gift basket of his favorite things and a handmade card, and he gave me a body pillow and Dragon Age 1 and 2! I'm prepared, when I have some sort of breaks, to game to my hearts content. When school's finished, and not busy. Played Brawl (he beat me ALOT, I need practice D:)

We had dinner at Adesso (had appetizers, entrees, AND dessert! we had a whole meal ^_^) so stuffed. Then we watched the last part of the Oscars and took a nap (news was pretty boring). 

Now I'm at home, gonna finish my paper...I don't even mind that I'm staying up for this, because I had such a good day with my boyfriend. This day is coming to an end...so before it's gone...happy anniversary.
