Much as I’d love to see my favorite space family back in action, I think it’ll be safer if they sit the next movie out…

It really was a small piece, and she eats grass all the time, but if I have to clean up cat puke, that’s on me. She just chomped it so fast!

It’s too hot today, so here’s a bird that I sometimes get to see in spring: the rose-breasted grosbeak (male).

Automotive soulmate or vehicular soulmate? (I’m not sure which sounds better/less unhinged.) I did see this car again today though!

(I honestly didn’t realize this was a thing until my dad pointed out the time he and my stepmom went to the Art Institute of Chicago and got really tired from seeing so much art so fast.)

My understanding was that somehow, they couldn’t show the whole movie in IMAX because it was too long unless they cut something. Is this real, or just some kind of wild false memory?

To be clear, I trust the children I am related to to not pee in a pool. But I know kids do it; my brain just conveniently forgets this fact while I’m in a pool.

Gumbo: it’s what’s for dinner (this time last week).

(And if my right arm looks scratched in the third panel, it’s because I did get scratched picking black raspberries. My dad says to wear long sleeves and pants, but it was too friggin hot. )

Is summer crud better or worse than crud any other time of year? Personally, I think that it’s still crud, but maybe being outside more helps me feel better faster.

I just realized that the tense in panel two (past tense) is different than it is in one and three (present tense), but that just further demonstrates how the past two days were very sweaty.

My wish for everyone for the rest of June is that you don’t almost swallow a bug (unless you want to).

The fourth panel is (usually) a pretty good motto.

The cat heads are really big, and they take some time to make, so even though we’ve had great turnout (the four times we’ve done this event now), it’s time to take a break. (Phew.)
