Wouldn't it be oh so funny, if Alastor being an executioner for Lucifer reversed his sin, instead of killing for himself he's killing for the good of another.
100% not how redemption for him would actually work, but wouldn't it be funny if he just was killed by Lilth or something and popped up in heaven and everyone is freaking out like "HE JUST KILLED MORE PEOPLE?? LIKE MORE MORE PEOPLE, AND GOT INTO HEAVEN?! GOD I THINK SOMETHINGS BUSTED" and Al is like "well I didn't want to be here either- why am I here??"
Lilith kills him to keep radioapple from being canon but she doesn’t realise Alastor would only look better as an Angel and is probably redeemable he just chooses not to be.
