That is interesting. Joy might have tried and kill Mel because of the chain reaction Dark Sun did when he forced Sun to kill Nexus. Considering that Moon found a Sun that was beating his Moon to death and Killer Sun killing his Moon was all because of what Dark Sun did, I wouldn’t be surprised if the incident with Joy and Mel was because of Dark Sun’s plan.
I read a anon rant comment on inky's blog👋 about sun sanctuary and moon haven problems and how could be interesting that we could see the consequences of dark sun's catalyst around the multiverse, so i think that theory was proven right,
As we know, even good and kind moons were hurt by their suns after the catalyst, so imagine suns were took over by a "unknown force" and suddenly attack their friend/sibling/lover/coworker/friendly neighbor like a wild beast wanting to kill them. And then we could've learn how dark sun approached those distressed suns and how moon haven helped those moons
I wished that sun sanctuary and moon haven arcs were better explored because i didn't exactly liked how the canon handle their concepts
I do wish it was better handled too.
I think they’re leaning too much onto some of the Sun sanctuary being nice and some of the moon haven being mean.
We need to see more sympathetic Moons that don’t get treated badly like Nexus or Sun that are actually monstrous and don’t get treated with sympathy like Dark Sun.
The Dark Sun part is especially important because they were trying to hard to make him a for the greater good character despite all the terrible things he did.
The need to see more of the results of DS’s actions and not just the Moon council being untrustworthy because they’re Moons and Moons are always like that I guess.
for personal reasons i have some trust on how it is gonna be bc the haven and sanctuary arc is NOT over yet, however i agree, the suns keep getting depicted as good and impossible to hurt unless actually deranged (cough, servant sun and people just wanna see him being like lord eclipse, rolls my eyes), and moons keep getting seen as mean, irresponsible, too serious, too flawed etc
anyway i'm just waiting for a cool thing to happen very soon, i think tyrant will be very important on this
and we should pay attention to mel and joy just saying
isn't she lovely but it's Nexus v2 dying because of the wither storm posessing him while Solar hugs him, then he turns into light and we see flashbacks of him as New Moon and then Nexus with the song playing in the background

I find it so funny that people are shocked and freaking out that Mark knows about the bloodymary ship as if he wasn't saying shit like this on this very site back in 2015
Arguing with a more hot tempered bot only for them to lose their cool and slam their fist down on the table you're standing on to make a point. The words dying on their tongue when you instinctively collapse into a ball, arms over your head to protect yourself from... from them. Your fear is obvious, your chest heaving and limbs trembling. There's a small dent in the metal surface from the force of impact. Nothing the bot would have thought twice about before, just a part of normal wear and tear, but now it's a horrifying reminder of just how fragile humans really are and how much they've just fucked up
Even better if the bot is arguing that a mission is too dangerous for you and this sorta cements it in their processor that cybertronians in general are simply too dangerous to pal around with humans and it drives a huge wedge in your relationship not just because it genuinely kinda fucked you up a little bit and because the bot is now convinced you'll end up dead if you keep hanging around them and so is keeping their distance
