Eclipse is never revived in this AU, nor does Ruin ever come to their dimension. So, no, it wouldn't happen- not then, at least.
However, it will happen later on as a different threat that arises. That's a card I've been holding close to my chest since the initial drafts of this AU though, so don't expect me to spill the beans any time soon :)
After that, and as they heal from it, I think I'll probably have them get MLP bracelets :3 might give one to every family member β¨ Earth/Terra will def get everyone shirts, though if everyone wears them is debatable lol

Good question!
No, "Nexus" never happens in this AU. Ruin never enters the dimension, and Abuser Solar's dimension isn't erased, likely due to his Creator already being dead.
New Moon still definitely has some of the same resentment and building tensions that caused him to turn canonically, but he lacks the critical stressors that turn him into Nexus in this AU.
Whenever Moon gets agitated or angry, it definitely is somewhat of a trigger for Solar, but that holds true for anyone. Solar thinks in a very compartmentalized way and has clear separation between people in his head, at least once he starts getting to knock them and creating memories.
I feel like Moon probably still goes through a bit of a colder phase in this AU, even without Ruin causing problems and Eclipse returning, but he never becomes Nexus.

i love that he was so silly, such a jokester that dumbass, i love that he was so smart despite him being new to everything, he learned so fast! i'm proud of him
he was very very protective and attentive for his family, i love that he gave sun and terra new bodies, i love that he worried for cosmos, i love that he was a nerd and a geek, he knew so much and liked so many things that i got interested in, or was already interested in
he would pull the stupidest pranks ever, then get so embarassed when he was the one getting pranked on
i loved his stims, his silly behavior when he was body acted, i love his voice
as NEXUS i loved all of that and still him like this, it's quite bittersweet
i love that i know he still cared, i love his pain, his grief, his rage, his desire to be his own person, i love his clothes, his powers, his face
i love his hands<3
i love that he was still himself (he always was himself) deep down, he just didn't want to be vulnerable anymore

Edit: random thing I imagine- when his voicebox is booting up and he's adjusting it, he probably sounds like Sun during the first "zzz- aaaa -zz" before his voice pitches down to his own tone with the "aaaaa test test"

It was a bit tricky for me to settle on what i wanted to do for this SOTW, I just knew it had to include my favs (The Bloodmoon Twins). I ended up just settling on a little picnic, hosted by Killcode! If you're trapped playing UNO for all eternity and are given a change to be in a grassy plain for a bit, might as well get along with each other. Though the twins are still quite bored.
(Nexus is there cause he physically could not care enough to make Killcode leave him alone)
Their heel-face turn on liking Killcode is so funny, why did they do that.
Random sidenote: while i was concepting, I remembered Jackie was in the last UNO hell episode. Twister with Jackie would be so unfair.

Also, I've officially drawn Ruin a whole two times more than I ever expected to draw him. He's honestly starting to grow on me (unfortunate timing now that he's dead)

The Bloodmoon Twins are some of my fav characters in the series (and my most recent post), so I thought they were a good pair to start off with ^^ I miss them quite a lot. I also have some Harvest stuff here cause he's also a fav.

I initially forgot 'Equinox' used to be a Ruin fandom nickname, but i think it suits BM2 so I kept it :)
(Also i was running out of other terms for 'Bloodmoon,' cause back in 2023 I used to call BM2 'Harvest' and now that name is very much taken XD)
I've seen a lot of different interpretations of how these three would interact if they weren't actively trying to kill each other, personally I'm a fan of the tired mentor/older relative + annoying pest dynamic for them.
