seranen¡:
that didnât sound like a bad idea, truly. â that might be reasonable but⌠my house is already too crowded as it is, Iâm sure whoever would look after them would be too overwhelmed by everything there⌠â plus, she didnât want anyone to put their nose where they arenât called. there are secrets, dark ones, being kept inside those doors. â Iâll survive without my little greenery! I can always come to the park and look at it whenever I miss it. â index points towards the flowerbed they were both admiring a few seconds ago.
â a few, I suppose. â answering his questions, she ponders with hand below chin, â though I always killed them with too much water or too little, apparently. â she had a terrible way with plants indeed.
â oh, do you? perhaps you could give this awful plant caretaker some tips then, Akira-san? â eyes shimmer, perhaps thereâs still hope.
âThatâs understandable,â His tone was truly sympathetic as he tried to ponder another possible solution. One option was perhaps asking if she might be willing to consider giving away some of her plants, but he didnât know if such a suggestion would be taken well. Besides, it wasnât his place to tell someone to clean up their messes.  âIf going to the park satisfies you, then perhaps that is the best option for the time being,â He conceded, nodding his head.
âHave you tried reading up on the plants you take care of...?â He asked, his tone slightly curious.  âPerhaps consulting a book about cacti might be helpful. Iâm sure that different plants require different amounts of water,â He assured her.
âI could try to give you some tips,â He nodded his head, smiling.  âIâm not exactly an expert but I donât see the harm in trying. There happens to be an old bookstore nearby. Perhaps we could see if they have any books about plant care.â
