Currently in hell (quitting my job, becoming a full time college student, fml) and tbh its making me want to talk about ARegect again even though it is NOT a series i can recommend in good faith to someone.

Oh also something funny but weird before I forget. Has anyone else ever noticed how for P1's/Andre's timer, the milliseconds never go past five? Like, they always count up to five and then the next second ticks over, throughout the entire video as far as I am aware. I'm pretty sure the milliseconds have actually been sped-up too so it fits within the regular time span of a second lol.
It isn't that important but it is a very weird little detail, and not at all how speedrun timers work to say the least, literally watch any footage of someone actually speedrunning.
Not super relevant but the admin fic I am currently dragging myself through (and my psychonet pseudo-essay to a degree) is making me think about my Admin roleswap au again lmao.
Was it good? No. It was mostly just me playing with dolls and going "eheuehu"

i mean you can have some of the old stuff. i have no idea why i haven't posted some of it already
I feel like I often see laundromats rendered as uneasy but ultimately peaceful places in art, as a part of that kind of liminal aesthetic. Which is wrong. They're malicious, ephemeral nexuses of evil.
Not entirely related to anything but just remembered a problem I do have with writing the admins. What the fuck do they call each other ??? Like you could just use numbers I guess, but we see Four referred to as "full square" in his brief appearance, but that is such a mouthful. Realistically they probably do just use numbers but I wonder about a world where they give each other increasingly stupid names based on their arbitrarily decided screen patterns.
Unfortunately Admin6 really lucked out because theres to much you can do there I feel. The first that popped to my mind tbh was "Check" as in checkers lmao. "Chess" also works tho.

would people be interested in admin slop
Prob shouldve clarified but im writing a fic. Mostly to espouse my headcanons but also to try to figure out how to characterize my admin interps. So i can write propaganda about them
reminder to myself later to draw a graph of ad4, ad3 and ad6 on who is most paranoid to least. I love thinking about those weirdos

Thinking about the fact that both chat and assimilation kind of baselessly call P1 "Andre" in the first place. Like, yeah, sure that is the first part of his name, but I feel like its very obvious to read it as "Andrew," right? "AndreW2002?"
It kind of makes me imagine that when the two were first introduced to each other, Assimilation just literally read it wrong, and despite all the presumably resets and edit to both of their behaviors, Chat still has this subconscious memory of that first time. They probably will never fully recall that moment of course, but it is now something enshrined in how they act and how they ultimately view their self, even if they don't recognize it that way. A metaphorical neural pathway retraced over too many times.
Andre is Andre because Assimilation is a stupid AI that read capitalization in a username poorly, and even as they fight each other he still holds that action of theirs with him.
Adding onto this, Andre is also Andre because Admin4 probably looked at "Andrew2002" and thought it needed a little more flair to mimic an actual username.
Do you think Admin4 (or whoever but I am choosing to believe it was Ad4 because it amuses me) named him Andrew after looking up "baby names" and looking at the first page on momsbouncingjoy.com or whatever for 15 seconds. (New WR.)
