So have been playing around with making emails render decently on most screen sizes and devices for a 1,5 years now with reasonable success without complying to all recommended practises. Would now like to throw some questions at other 'optimizers' - willing to share some tricks myself of course.

Have you experienced any problems/issues when not including image dimensions except alt tag text being invisible in the email clients that do show the text?
