“oh you can’t? let’s drink up then. i can see this night becoming very fun for us.”

“I think tonight might be our best night yet ambros. I’ll take a drink, you can take a drink, and then we can get a little handsy afterwards.”

poseidon couldn’t help but grin as they entered the dance hall, pulling them along to the middle of the dance floor. “i can be when i want too. plus, doesn’t it just make the night more fun?”

“It will always be more fun, dancing and being that free spirit that’s so desperate to get out.” She spun around with light laughter flowing out of her before pulling herself into his arms and looking to him with big round eyes. “Donnie, you are always the best dance partner!”

“Girl; do you even have to ask?”

“Of course not, but I just wanted to make sure! Come on! Take a drink!”

ana didn’t find heather’s tone hurtful in any way, she was the one teasing the other. she put her hands up in a surrender. “alright, alright, i give. you just look young. needed to make sure everyone here was at least over the age of 18,” she chuckled, taking a sip of her drink. “do you know the hosts? they seem to be people that know everyone.”

“I am definitely over the age of 18. Age of consent and all, of course! I’d be doomed if I wasn’t. Everybody here is so pretty, I can’t help but get entirely too into everybody at this point.” She was practically an addict. “I know Donnie and Hermes...not Zeus...but I’m hoping to change that tonight. She’s is absolutely stunning. As is everybody else here. We’re all like...models.”

Willow couldn’t help the gasp at the sight of the bottle. “That’s so bad!” They giggled before clapping their hands in excitement. “But i will approve since the drinks are free anyways so you are stealing something that is technically free to you.”

“I know, isn’t it just the best though?” Heather absolutely found herself chuckling along with the other, before popping the top off. “I thought...why wait in line when I could just enjoy myself on the dance floor all night!” She took a swig before passing the bottle over to them. “I’m Heather, what’s your name sweetheart?”

“i think you would get along with zeus and poseidon rather swimmingly,” he chuckled, taking one of his shots easily. “so far. we have barely gotten into the far party.”

“Oh really? It’s a good thing Donnie and I already have some history right Hermes?” She chuckled, interested in what Zeus was like herself. “I guess we need to take a few more of these to really see what the party can hold for us.”

persephone smiled mostly to herself as hedone poured them each a glass, taking it in her hand to clink it with the other’s. “to a night we hopefully won’t remember.” downing the shot, her face screwed up at the taste. “oh gods that’s awful.”

“It’s the worst one I could find...which wasn’t an easy task! They spared no expense on the alcohol tonight, which is actually quite impressive.” She chuckled after taking her own before looking around at the place. This party needs to liven up! Let’s go dance!”

“of course i do, love. we had such a good time over coffee, i can only imagine what might happen over tequila.”

“Very much a different kind of fun, though you know I can’t say no to you already.”

“You don’t have to ask me twice. Though you do know it’s an open bar right? You didn’t have to steal it.” Though Amalia couldn’t deny that she liked the woman’s style to do so anyway.

“I know, but isn’t it much more fun if we pretend like it’s not? I might not have had to steal it, but I certainly em enjoying it.” She ginned, letting another sip pour into her mouth before handing it over.

“i’m enjoying the partner i have now. no need to change that quite so soon.” he leaned into her, nipping lightly at her neck. “we’re going to have the best time, hedy.” poseidon stood up, holding out his hand to her. “let’s go dance and continue the party.”

“I’m sure I won’t want to change that anytime soon either.” She grinned, feeling a slight zip of electricity spark as he teased her ever so slightly. “I’d love nothing more.” She took his hand, standing and following him towards the dance hall. “Are you much of a dancer baby?”

hermes worked on pouring them a few shots, sliding two over to her first before getting his own. “definitely could be worse things. and no, poseidon was in charge of the fun and zeus is in charge of vibes. meaning there are no rules here.”

“No rules, huh? That’s bound to be a disaster, but only in the best way possible.” She winked at the other, letting her fingers trail around the rim of the glass. “Tonight has already gone off without a hitch, so I’d say you all threw a successful evening so far.”

“i probably shouldn’t but… pour me a glass.”

“Oh, we are going to have fun. I like you! Let’s do a shot together!” She poured the other a glass along with her own and lifted it to clink the other. “To a night that I hope we don’t remember!”

“they really have gone all out,” she chuckled, looking around the room at the extravagance. “they’ve done an amazing job with you,” ana teased the girl, brushing the underside of her chin as she once did when they were still gods. “and i’m really glad you’re here too, heather. do you want to grab a drink, hold on, are you old enough to be drinking?”

“They really did. And gosh, I’m sure they would love you. You’ve been so sweet and kind and that’s all they could ever preach to me day in and day out.” Heather gave a larger grin, letting the other brush her under her chin while she felt a twinge of pride in her expression. “Of course I’m old enough! I may look a little young, but I can assure you...I am.” Her defensiveness came off a bit more crass than she intended, though she swiftly gave into another chuckle.

the god sighed as the other almost denied her nature. but the gods weren’t too far off of who they used to be. “well i’m glad to see that you’re not completely denying it. shall i get you a drink? one must always have a drink in hand tonight i’m afraid.”

It seemed like all of this was going over her head as she only thought of it as nothing more than a joke. But, she liked playing along too. “It’s a nice thought, to think and be that way. It can’t be the worst thing, right? And another drink...please. Are those the rules for this evening? Did you make them Mister Host?”

“i’ve heard the same. supposed to be a night to remember,” ana smiled, shaking her head as she turned to heather. “and you.. every time i run into you, you make me feel like a goddess. whoever raised you did it right,” she laughed, reaching out to admire the girl’s own dress. “and you? looks like we’re almost matching in color. seems we have great taste.”

“It absolutely has already been such a night to remember. We’ve been treated to such an amazingly beautiful place.” Heather couldn’t believe all that went into the decor and enjoyed the entire atmosphere. “Well, I’m sure my parents would love to hear you say that!” From Heather’s false memories, there was the fact that she was raised by two lovely women who taught her nothing but love. “We really do, like we planned this whole thing! I’m so glad you’re here!”

hermes head turned to look at hedone. or heather, he scoffed in his head. “oh i’m sure you love it, goddess of pleasure. i am hoping you take full advantage of your evening with us.”

“Goddess of pleasure, that seems so surreal. Me? It is exactly who I’d be if that were the case I suppose.” She chuckled sheepishly admitting that her affinity for pleasure usually got the best of her.
