I think we should let people know about Miller and Julie Mao. Not all the details, nothing about the Protomolecule, just about them. A Belter and an Earther who was an OPA member, that sacrificed themselves to save the cradle of humanity.

You’re helping my people. So let me give you some advice…

Wait. We got assigned the same damned job? With all our “compartmentalization” bullshit - this sort of shit happens. You got the job from the Goodneighbor side, I got it from Griswold Safehouse.

Ride and die from the very star, my man! Her looks, her sass, the way she gives as much as she gets (and so much more!) in her scenes with Holden, the flash of vulnerability toward the end, and the epicness that is “LADAR says it’s a big hole in the side”… Yes, it definitely was love at first episode!

I feel so blessed to be part of a show that constantly makes an effort to present a world, that in my eyes, is normal in terms of gender roles and diversity.  I remember being a kid and there being maybe a handful of women that looked like me across all the forms of entertainment and media. There was hardly any representation and my own experience of being mixed race always seemed to be a rather contentious issue for everyone. So the fact that my work on this show may play a part in creating a world where it’s just normal for a little mixed race or black girl to see themselves in a complex, powerful, forthright, smart woman like Naomi is just incredible. I feel kinda weepy about it actually.
