hues  observed  the  room  over  the rim of her goblet. the dayne heiress had made her initial rounds and now stood at a slight distance from the dance floor. not hidden away but not at the heart of the celebration. she took a small drink of wine, only able to stomach the reach's wine in small bursts.  ❝  i do believe this is the third time they've played the rains of castamere tonight. ❞   alara would've thought such a dull tune would've been removed from the night's rotation - much to the possible distaste of lions. but tradition must overrule; had there ever been a ball without the tune being played at least once?

the  tenderness  /  the  urgency  takes  him  by  surprise,  he  is  not  used  to  such  touches  and  the  lord  castamere  feels  something  inside  the  cage  of  his  ribs  halter  for  a  second  or  two.  it  stops  him  in  his  tracks  immediately,  gaze  flitting  between  the  two  and  jacaerys  finds  himself  fighting  against  a  threatening  smirk  or  bemusement.  he  follows  the  lead  of  the  other,  elbow  convexing  and  making  space  for  a  hand  to  latch  onto.  “  prester  ?  ”  he  quirks  a  brow,  “  the  red  ox…  are  they  not  a  rather  important  sworn  house  to  you  lady  lannister  ?  ”
