Seven Mintues

Guys, I’ve been wanting to rewatch A Dogs Purpose for a while now, but I’ve been reluctant to doing so cause I felt like it was too soon. My favorite dog of all time (my heart dog, my soul dog, whatever you want to call it) passed away a year ago, and I’m afraid that movie will hurt more than it originally did. I remember watching that movie when I was little and watching it, it made me cry. I watched it with Lucy and cried, even though she was healthy and alive at the time. Now that she’s gone I feel like it will hurt more. The first time I watched the movie, I had never experienced pet loss. The second time I watched, I had experienced pet loss but it was two pets I had lost 4-6 years ago at that point. Don’t get me wrong, it still hurt, but I wasn’t in an unstable grieving point, I had grown used to them being gone, even though I missed them both dearly. The second time I watched that movie was certainly more relatable than the first time, but how hard will the third time hit? I know I will cry if I watch it, any sane person does (I think), but I feel as though it will hurt more because it wasn’t long ago that I had experienced the loss of not only my childhood dog, but also my favorite dog. Idk..is it dumb of me to subject myself to that? Should I do it or no?
