“You could have the rest of this if you’d like!”

How was she going to handle this? She hadn’t the faintest clue how to respond without seeming confused by all of this. Well.. She could always act. If anything, her skills at deception were top notch. She’d just have to keep it up long enough for him to at least give her his name.

So with a sigh the young man gently shoved away the drink before him, resting his elbow on the table as he lazily scanned the sidewalk from across the street. That was… until he saw a familiar face. One that had sparked his nerves and caused his heart to skip a beat. 

Man. He still needs time to get used to that.

“Stocking, hey!” The young man beamed with a smile, waving to try and catch her attention.

“.. Who the fuck is that?” 

That was the only thought that  Stocking could spare the man at the moment. With all of the insanity happening around her, a stranger greeting her by name seemed like the least bizarre thing. In between people speeding by as if they were hyped up on sugar cubes or cars frozen in mid-air, Stocking wasn’t sure what to make of any of it. On top of that, people were aging left and right. Some even becoming younger. Though the nearly ageless nature of demons left no visible changes on her. 

She approached the man slowly. Mostly due to the fact that she had eyed a milkshake sitting right there. He really didn’t seem like someone she knew, although his clothes were very familiar.. 

“A closet, huh? Maybe you should go easy on the heavy petting from now on.” 

      Well she certainly wasn’t expecting   a reaction like that. Not at all. A brow shot   up as Rarity regarded the girl– Stocking–   and the unicorn tilted her head to fully take   her in. She certainly seemed started, that   was for sure, but Rarity just couldn’t seem   to figure out why. Did she have something   on her face? Perhaps in her mane?

She was still talking. This horse was still taking! And she was wearing glasses too! A talking horse with fashionable glasses?! Nothing about this made sense. Absolutely nothing. But, there was one thing that Stocking was certain of.. She wanted it. She wanted an adorable, talking, stylish horse now. And so, she slowly made her way towards Rarity. Lifted her off of the ground and began to walk away in the opposite direction. 

“Hahaha~ It’s jokes like that that make me wish you could tell them all day. But even if it’s only for a few minutes, I’d be just as happy.”
