ICE (얼음) is the debut single by heatwave, a boy group under vanita entertainment. released on january thirty-first as a seemingly title track format, ICE was a hit amongst many international fans for it's explicit lyrics and vibes.

it was no surprise the boys would debut with a single as it was true vanita fashion to debut all of her groups with a single as a concept spoiler before showing their first album but when people found out they'd be having two singles instead of one, people felt this group were gonna be spoiled, and had high hopes.

three months past since ice came along and still nothing was heard of the group, not even any news about the second single which was meant to come days after. vanita was under fire, many people criticizing the company since all whilst people waited for heatwave news, the company decided to focus on different activities, such as debuting another group.

it was until a teaser about the group that people finally forgot the outroar and started praising the company for the high quality and budget put into the boys official debut.

STYLING

styling for this era was a little wacky(?) it wasn't bad it just the styling almost felt as though it was sticking only to the members individual vibes rather than styling for an era so a lot of the times the outfits wouldn't be cohesive and it'd range from soft-school boy looks to biker type styles

[♟️] what are these guys? ♪ the group's concept was highly debated as many users felt it was "whiplash" between the singles and the final album which had many people wondering "What the fuck are they" The discussion became a big uproar, creating a divide between which concept they liked better for the members which ultimately causing the official creative directors who worked for the group to tell everyone that they're all wrong and that in the future, the guys would stick to more creative concepts, trying out new styles and new music genre's since they're a new kind of group that wouldn't follow one thing.
