I’ve watched people call it all sorts of things, power exchange, sub/dom dynamic, consensual control???
But I’ve never met a dom who didn’t confuse dominance with cruelty.I’ve never met a dom who didn’t get high off of someone else’s breaking.Who didn’t talk about “limits” and then push them until they screamed and called it growth.
They all say:“Safe, sane, consensual.”
But what they really mean is: “Make me feel powerful and I’ll call it love.”
Because dominance in theory is velvet rope, soft control, trust.
But dominance in practice?
It’s too often a man who wants a doll. A girl who obeys. A pet who doesn't cry too loud.
She “doesn’t understand the lifestyle.”
No, She understands it too well.
She understands the bruises that weren’t discussed. The punishments that were “earned.”The scenes that felt like something was stolen. She understands that “dominant” has become a shield for too many men who never learned how to love without owning.
I have never met a dom who didn’t want control more than care.
Who didn’t need obedience to feel whole. Who could walk away when “no” was spoken, instead of circling it like a shark smelling blood.
That’s not a dom: its just a man with a god complex and a leather collar in his back pocket.
So no, I don’t trust your dynamic and I don’t want to hear about your rules.I don’t care how many contracts you signed if you’re still teaching her to mistake pain for devotion.
