This is Teliska, a side character in my story I've been playing with. For some reason I'm very obsessed with her love story between her and her husband. So much so I wanted to make art and get the opinion of seeing other people depict her and him.

Its been really hard to get the courage to write again after all the stress with my health issues so they have been my comfort characters.

Now to the story behind them or at least her. She's from a coastal village in the world far to the south of where we meet her. Her village was raided and she was taken to the kingdom where the story begins. Years pass as she lives far from her home until the war begins between the kingdom she's in and the kingdom my male lead is from. The male lead Kaelen is the prince of the other kingdom and is taken as a war prisoner.

When the two of them meet they are both basically prisoners and so through a bond she helps him escape and he makes her came with him in the escape.

This image is set around the beginning of the story during her servitude. The next piece is set much later in their story.

Both forms will be options for people to draw for Artfight and I'm just so looking forward to my first year.

Roll for fanart is coming back! At least until Artfight next month. Today's piece was the first test of my new format.

The roll was `The Ancient Magus Bride - TTRPG`

I went with the female lead Chise as the Arcane Trickster class in Dungeons and Dragons

I knew as soon as I rolled TTRPG I was gonna take her into DnD and do a semi class swap since she'd typically count as a wizard or maybe a druid given the natural element of her magic. Either way I thought this was fun and I'm really excited to be doing more with Roll for Fanart again. I'm currently in the works of making videos so you guys can see my process! My group and I are doing one shots with the same characters from The Flames of Hope Campaign. Why? Because the campaign is dead and most of us are kind of depressed about it but also don't want to give up hope. I have no hope but I love my friends so we do the one shots. Sometimes I run them, Several times another friend has run them, though his are telling more of an overarching story but they take place as dreams so our characters aren't having their whole world changed without the ability to go back.

So during the dream campaign that one friend is running our party walks into a flower shop because were looking for the high priest and our beloved Druid Alavardi, who doesn't know anything about society outside of a druid community, sees the images of flowers on the sign (The signs have no words just symbols for the buildings because most of the people in the city are illiterate)

Anyways Alavardi thinks the high priest must be in there because druids commune with nature and she can't understand really anything different from her experience. So far she's gotten very upset that these people do not burn their dead which is a sign of respect in her community, it's caused some friction. But thank goodness I'm a player in this so we don't just have the fire child doing whatever she wants because there would be issues.

Back to the story of this image. We went into the flower-shop and the sweet little florist asked us for help bringing the plants outside to get some rain water and we did and then she put a bunch of flowers in Lougie's head because she thought he was adorable and would be cuter still with flowers. She was right. Sadly his player left before this happened and never came back but he still loves the image of his boy all flowered up <3

I realize the color palette for this piece and my last one are pretty similar but these are two completely different characters. This is the princess form I designed for my friend's Plazmoid monk, Lou-gex, from our DnD Campaign with The Flames of Hope.

I doodled this form based on our first bit of down time our characters had. Staying as fugitives in the upstairs room of a tavern they were friends with the owner of. When we finished having a fun little realization with my character it was time to get ready for bed and my character suggested we build a pillow fort. That was a lot of fun and once it was done Lou-gex went inside and got jumped by Tera's cat named Lion. Lou-gex being the dramatic he is played damsel in distress and thus the concept of Princess Lougexa was born from a game of rescue the princess.

There's a challenge on Deviantart to draw something with your pride flag's color palette. So I made a unicorn. She looks straight out of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and I loved it. So I made a pony form. It helps that this month's VGen contest theme is "horse" so that is out of the way.

I was honestly expecting the drawing to turn out like crap cause I have never drawn inklings or octolings before but this turned out so cute and I couldn't be happier!

I have loved these two since the first day I opened up splatoon 2. I always will love them as a duo and as one of my OTPs. I will die on this ship! Pearla/Maron (or whatever ship name you use) for life!

I love the idea that Pearl is very affectionate with Marina. Like all the kissies, all the closeness and cuddles. Marina is more quiet but passionate so she strikes me as the one expressing her love in these subtle but important ways. I'm not sure who's photo this is. Pearl probably has it as her lock screen while Marina gives me more analog feel for photos (Yes she's the techy one but she's also super sentimental feeling.) I just think Marina would have the photo framed and stickered and hung up on her locker or just somewhere she can always see it.

Anyways I'll stop blabbing and get on with my day. I've got the itch to make more ship art <3

With this month almost over I have one more month before Art fight begins. So I'm really happy I have art of several of the characters I am planning to submit. This has also been a great opportunity for me to make character sheets and show my skill in those.

Caleb here is my newest baby. I've poured so much love into him and he was actually the first character I made a character sheet for <3

I am also just proud of how far I've come in my style and skills just comparing some of my older mermaid drawings to this one.

Today's piece was a cute little silly thing I made when I rolled for fanart.

I was still super inspired by my character Caleb Walker so I had to keep that energy going. I loved every minute of doodling this cute little moment of him playing one of my comfort games during the pandemic back in 2020. I selected the characters above his head I felt head love the most.

Yes I know this looks too wholesome for the game but I don't care! He's a #werebear and I love him. He's my baby. Bonus points he's supposed to be the sugar to someone else's spice <3

Now if you are curious about these two because I haven't drawn them much together. This is my last DnD campaign character. Diana Faris, and Archfey warlock and half-elf. The tiefling about to kiss the ever loving hells out of her, is her future wife, Kendra (Also a warlock for the same patron) . Or current wife as of this image. During the campaign they didn't meet but years later Kendra was hunting an infernal Hag and Lady Kharasi asked Diana to aid her. So Diana did. Kendra is a much more abrasive person and had a hard time accepting help especially from this bubbly and joyful dog energied warlock. Complete opposites. Still what Kendra hated the most was how much she found Diana attractive. I was inspired by the song "Your Stupid Face."

This astral elf dickhead was our villain of last/current arch. It started as a simple job of a stolen item from a Gasbar's reclamations. We investigated the main suspect, an employee of the shop who was later nearly killed by the gang who actually stole it.

The gang Hecinth hired to be his muscle. Hecinth is a wirey man but also a noble of the rock of Bral. He's got major sass with our party to the point we have a running gag of him bickering with our plasmoid monk and trying to shit talk the other into Shuting The Fuck Up.

We were last trying to gather evidence beyond our word of all his wrong doing. Stealing of massive amounts of water that the city needs to live, kidnapping and imprisoning of two astronomers and a member of the press, hiring a group of criminals to impersonate the city's law enforcement as well as stealing something called the planar gate. Among other things surely.

So I'm preparing to join artfight this year. I'm not sure if I actually will but the plan is to try. Starting with making three reference sheets before the end of the month. Lucky me I already made my first one. I love Caleb so much even if he hasn't gotten to be in a storyline yet he's just my baby! Despite being a grown man, with a degree, I never mentioned before but he's a pharmacist. As well as a WereBear. Yes you heard me right. this Twink is a bear is a bear in disguise. I find it hilarious. Not to mention the plan is for him to be daddy in both uses of the term. Kukuku~

Anyways fingers crossed I get reference sheets made for the other two cause I'm gonna keep it simple and only present three well loved options.

I'm glad I have this backlog of art in pieces that I wanted to share, even though I'm scared too at the same time for some reason.

These are portraits i made for Caleb's character sheet. I ended up changing the color of the shadows later to match the full-body pieces better.

I really wanna make more expression collections for my characters and my friend's characters maybe too.

The new VTM rps keep flooding out with me because I'm so out of practice. On top of some other reasons. Still I love this character so I'm determined to make him and play him. Plus I've already been making art of him.

I'm actually planning on putting him in my collection for ArtFight, so if you like him and want to draw him he'll be up for drawings. I think it's gonna be really fun if I can get my other two character sheets in order.

So this was a sketch that turned into a fully rendered pair of portraits for my current story obsession. I have been feeling so drained and anxious that writing has been hard. Still I've been crafting a backstory for Prince Kaelen and his love and queen Teliska.

I am planning on having them as part of my characters for Art fight because they just look so cool and I think people might like drawing them.

Kaelen comes from a mountainous kingdom that is connected very closely to dragons. So connected that the humans of the kingdom over time began to evolve and mutate to share traits with the dragons. The royalty especially have these traits which is why instead of a beard Kael has golden scales across his face. I'm still figuring out the magic rules of that world and how the dragons play into that but I love the idea and his love story with his queen as they fight through hell to get to safety and stay together has really made me feel relaxed as I craft it.
