Healing often looks like going ghost with no explanation, to finish piecing yourself together. It looks like placing boundaries around your peace, empathy and understanding. It resembles hitting reset with everyone in your life and allowing them to earn the healed version of you. Healing is often mistaken for selfishness, when you start to prioritize yourself over the people who used to come first. Healing means not compromising your needs for the fragile egos of the energy vampires in your life. Healing is finally not giving a fuck about how they feel anymore, especially when they never really gave a fuck about you. Heal with only yourself in mind. Let go of them, to hold on to yourself. Whose meant to stay will stay.

Everyday I wake up with a mood of gratitude. I could be anywhere doing anything, but I’m right where I’m suppose to be. I am truly loving myself for the very first time ever. I’m right here living in the present, happier than I’ve ever been. I’m abundant and my dreams are flourishing. I’m standing still, at peace with my own company. Something as simple as sitting on my porch brings me so much joy. There is no stress and no worries, just gratefulness for every single blessing. This life finally feels like home to me.

My heart discovered a soul that I could let go with and melt into. This love feels safe.
