url & icon - the url is fine. it doesn’t tell me what the rp is about, but that isn’t a bad thing. i’d honestly change the icon to something that fits the theme of your rp and is pretty. maybe a forest with a purple hue over it. i don’t mean to be an asshole and comment on the promo blog when you asked for the main, but i’d change this url, too. its not very pretty. its super long. torchwoodpromo is open lol.

theme & general graphics - you should change this. usually - i try to be a bit nicer and fluffy about it to not hurt anyones feelings, but this should be changed. its too purple. the theme isn’t cute at all. its clunky, all over the place, and just has a bunch of weird fonts. it just isn’t..attractive or nice to look at in any way. if i were looking for a rp - i wouldn’t continue to look at it because of this. 

as far as general graphics - i get it. you like the stepping stone thing, but it really isn’t pretty everywhere on your rp. the png is roughly cut and its really obvious on the graphics. The admin picture & current missions being something else would look much nicer. As well as not having them over the skeletons and basically every image on the site. As well as the images like this are fairly low quality, aren’t as large as your post area. The three images side by side just doesn’t look nice at all, and I would recommend doing something more clean cut that fits the size of your post width. Such as cropping a faceless image and putting it there.

like i said - i generally try to be more fluffy and nice about it, but you should change this.

rules - “These rules are NOT in order of importance - all rules are of the same importance.” I feel like this goes with out saying?

Characters from the past or future are more than welcome! As well as characters who are not human! (you can see the pages about the TV shows this group is based off of for more info on this! Check out the navi linked to the left) This seems odd to me as you linked the rest of the important pages? Why not link that one?

Your rules are fine, but they’re just super long? Some stuff that is entire rules could be summarized with in the other rule. Such as not asking people about their triggers could be absorbed into the messaging you about triggers with a simple. “Do not question people why things trigger them.”

NO FCs are banned*!! The FCs on the "Bad" FCs list are only suggested against, alternatives can be found next to each name as they're discovered.

*The 'No FCs are banned' rule does NOT apply to those who specifically state they do NOT want to be used in RP!! Those people are NOT allowed to be used within this group and can also be found on the "Bad" FCs page. (Alternatives for them also found there as well)

Could easily be written as: “We have provided a list of ‘bad’ face claims and ‘banned’ face claims with listed alternatives. “Bad” faces are recommended against, but still allowed on the rp while banned faces have specifically asked not to be used so we’d like to respect their wishes.”

general site writing - This type of site isn’t my style anyway. So I won’t comment on the plot. It looks nice to me, but I really would make your writing sound more professional and put together you use !!!, :D, and other things like that just..don’t look professional. I know you want to come off as like welcoming and warm by doing all of that, but it just looks annoying. Everything is written from the persons perspective where it’d look and read nicer as a general thing. At some point in the rules it says “send it to me”. It’d be nicer to just say “Send your triggers to us.” Just as “More info can also be found on the FAQ page, and pages about Mel and myself (Ally).” would read better as “More information can be found on the FAQ page, and pages about the admins.”

application - looks good! i don’t see any problems there. the only thing i’m slightly ?? about is the physical descriptions. they have fcs. 

navi - its hard to read the black links on the dark purple text.

the ‘status’ thing is completely irrelevant imo? not that its irrelevant to know, but your theme only has the dates. it doesn’t have the times. so if its 8 pm now - how am i supposed to know it wasn’t posted at 7 am that morning because it would still fall under the same date?

bad fc - if they can use them - why even have the list?? its their business. theres no purpose in that last. it would 100% discourage me cause then i’d feel awful like i’m some bad person and just not join if i wanted to use one of those fcs.

more so cause you don’t even explain why they’re ‘bad’. imo just ban them or don’t & be quiet about it.
