                    THE SITUATION WAS AS CLEAR AS DAY.      it   was   one   he   had   seen   many   times   before   during   his   many   years   alive,    and   one   that   never   failed   to   disturb   him.    the   woman   did   seem   as   if   she   could   probably   fend   for   herself   against   the   man,    but   he   couldn’t   possibly   ignore   the   situation   as   the   creep   kept   persisting,    following   every   step   the   woman   took   around   the   market.    the   woman   was   no   doubt   a   beauty,    but   that   didn’t   give   him   the   right   to   continue   pursuing   after   several   outright   rejections.    he   would   never   figure   out   what   went   through   some   men’s   brains.    steps   padded   softly   over   the   sidewalk   as   he   made   a   swift   approach   toward   the   pair. 

                                         once   he   had   closed   the   distance   enough   to   catch   the   lady’s   eye,    he   shot   her   a   quick   wink   and   opened   his   arms.                 ❛      ah---   darling!    i   do   apologize   for   being   so   late!    are   you   ready   to   take   off?      ❜                 a   kind   smile   in   place,    he   stepped   right   up   to   her   side,   insuring   enough   distance   for   her   comfort,    but   a   ‘possessive’   hand   still   finding   it’s   way   over   her   shoulder.    he   ignored   the   man   completely   as   he   began   to   walk   away,    with   the   woman   in   tow.    he   could   only   hope   the   man   would   take   the   obvious   hint   and   not   attempt   to   follow   them.
