“Hi,” he whispered when he found her, like he’d been looking for her for a thousand years.

“Hi,” she whispered back as if she'd been waiting for him twice as long.

They stared silently, still somehow completely taken, mesmerized, with one another even after all this time… but something was different tonight, there was something more, something quiet and ancient in the air they shared, like a prayer, an unwritten prophecy.

their main scene together was just the two of them, no other characters, no glaring item of clothing or tech that placed them in the 80s (both their outfits are kinda timeless)

just two people existing for in a moment that could never be replicated, finding something unexpected in each other
