have u ever had a depersonalization moment when you look at yourself in the mirror and think wow this person is me and i have this body and this life and everything feels so strange why am i me and not someone else

you are not being mean by standing up for yourself. you are not being mean by demanding respect. you are not being mean by advocating for your own needs. stop feeling ashamed and apologising for being your own advocate when necessary. 

i love the part of growth that allows you to look back on a previous period of your life and recognize that parts of it were unhealthy. something that felt so normal wasn’t in hindsight. you’re not supposed to feel that tired all the time. you’re not supposed to be treated like that.
