Charlie Dupont is a well-known name in the world of paparazzi, notorious for the images of famous celebrities she has taken and sold to tabloids all over the world. To her it wasn’t just a job but a means to pay her bills and support her lavish life-style.
Born in Nyack, New York to a homemaker and a banker. It was Charlie’s parents that made childhood a bit difficult for her. Maybe it was the middle child syndrome but she was either never good enough or she didn’t exist at all in her parent’s eyes. Her older brother Jon, excelled in anything and everything. He was the apple of their parents’ eyes and could do no wrong and frankly, Charlie, who never held any animosity towards her big brother, felt the same way. David, on the other hand, seemed to have taken the wrong path, missing school and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Anything she did to get her parents attention and affection paled in comparison to David’s actions. Her parent’s hands were too full to notice what Charlie had been up to. Besides, they would say, Charlie is old enough to take care of herself. And so did Charlie.
While in school, Charlie decided to spend her free time making money by taking little odd jobs around the neighborhood. She picked up a newspaper delivery job before her first class without her parents knowing about it. She learned to operate under her parents’ radar and she became almost invisible at home. Charlie might not have been the brightest kid in school but she had street smarts. Peer pressure never worked on her and she always told other kids that encouraged her to try things that she would when she felt like it. She believed that saying “no” was easier than saying “yes.” Committing to something wasn’t Charlie’s style. She always operated solo. Graduating high school was the first time her parents “saw” her. Driven by necessity more than anything else, Charlie dragged herself to speak to her parents whom she’d never connected, and told them that she wanted to go to college. It wasn’t for the education (she didn’t tell them that of course), sitting in class was not Charlie’s idea of learning. She skipped school every chance she got but having a diploma under her belt was very important if she wanted to go further in life. Throughout the years, Charlie perfected the charm she had used on people to get them to do what she wanted them to and she used that very same charm on her parents, convincing them to take out a student loan so she could attend college. They agreed to co-sign a loan and helped stabilized her future for her.
Charlie worked hard in college, harder than any of the other students, but she struggled with some classes she needed to take to complete her degree in photography. A profession she picked not for the art but for the money she could make if she got involved in the right industry. Once she finished her degree, she returned home to work and to gain experience before eventually venturing to New York City where she cooped up a plan - learning where celebrities live, where their hang-outs were, befriending other photographers until she was part of their little circle. It wasn’t long before Charlie made a name for herself, that is without people putting a face to go with it and she preferred that. From the moment she made her first big time shot that made other paparazzi aware of her existence, there was no stopping her. Now she works alone, producing the rarest shots never seen in tabloids or major celebrity gossip columns.
Charlie is no artist; she’s a woman of convenience and opportunity and doesn’t hesitate to take the perfect shot. If there was anything she was good at, it was disguising herself and infiltrating people’s lives to gain an advantage before the attack. This was one thing, Michael Williams, her good friend and former fellow classmate from college, knows about her. And Williams proposed a new and bigger opportunity for Charlie. Charlie is not stupid after all. She knew the danger that comes along with her friend’s new project. She’d refused to do it but Williams was quick to remind her the big favor he did for her a few years back. Charlie didn’t have a choice then; she prepares to meet Williams. Charlie’s secret identity was finally revealed to the Queen by Monégasque prince, Annis. She is not permitted to leave the kingdom as she is suspected of committing crimes against the guests. She is currently under Prince Annis’ responsibility.
Charlie is driven to success not by any dream but her goal to stay on top. She is passionate about her job, despite the lack of morals and the disapproving sentiments by some media, celebrities, and some fans alike. She is always on top of scoops, always able to place herself ahead of the others. Her family has their own opinion about her line of work but Charlie is rarely bothered. She always lived for the moment. She is strong-willed and never backed down to any challenges.

Michael Williams. Very good [and she would stay, her only one and true friend] she met during college in NYC. They tolerate each other’s stubbornness because they care about each other. Michael is the only one that gets under her skin when it comes to her job as a paparazza. Throughout their friendly quarrels, they always support each other. Michael left Hohenzollern in fear of befalling the same faith his friend had leaving Charlie own her own in the kingdom.
