With this line Baz poses himself as the damned Icarus, undone by the his hubris, his love of the sun, the thing that will destroy him. But can’t the sun mourn too what he has ruined with his light and his fire?  How many fathers have warned their sons away from such loving.

they are literally hideous. a fucking boater???? no wonder baz is going hog wild with the clothes. I went to a private school where the school colors were dark green and piss yellow and even that wasn’t this bad.
