i just love all the stories about production on project hail mary. they didn't use a single green/blue screen in the whole film. they built the whole interior of the hail mary. the petrova line scene was done practically by putting infrared lights on a chicken wire cage. rocky's voice was one of the puppeteers because he did such a good job during filming that they couldn't imagine anyone else voicing him. and rocky was a practical puppet/animatronic! sandra huller picked sign of the times as her karaoke song and she asked her daughter if it was still a cool song. i just feel like there was so much love making this film and im obsessed

zombie twissy au where the doctor DOES execute missy in extremis, but during the thousand years he's supposed to watch her for, he keeps trying and trying again to bring her back to life. He eventually succeeds. Missy is back but she's not quite herself. She's more corpse-looking and her pulse hasn't come back. She also has the simm master thing where she's always hungry. She prefers fresh raw meat because she feels like it's more alive. She's dead and craves the taste of life. So the doctor starts bringing her more and more. At some point she mentions wanting to eat him...and the doctor obviously refuses. But then he sees her getting worse and worse and looking more deadly and pale and desperate and hungry so he gives in and lets her eat some of his flesh. She tries it, and gets obsessed with the feeling of eating living things (especially the doctor). So, against all his better judgement, the doctor brings her prey to hunt. But soon realises, the only thing that seems to satisfy her is time lord flesh.
