â You really shouldnât be out in the woods⌠Alone.â Alice spoke to the redhead as she stepped in front of her , giving her a small smile. She means no harm and she honestly means that. Especially after what happened no one should even go out alone. Itâs just asking for it. Putting an easy target on your back.Â
âI co-could say the sa-same for you-you.â Holly retorted as she held her bag tighter too herself, taking a step away from the stranger. Holly looked at her with confusion, raising an eyebrow. âWhy are you out he-here by yoursel-self?â She asked. She thought it was kind of hypocritical that she was being told she shouldnât be out here but this girl was doing the same thing.

Scott was just walking around when he eventually entered the woods. He just needed a break from the world and others. Including Stiles, but he did promise they would meet up at some point in the day.
As he got deeper into the green surrounding woods he spotted, sense another in there. He quicken his pace when he finally saw a bright red headed girl. âHey, he whispered not wanting to scare her. âWhat brings you out here?âÂ
Holly jumped, and whipped to see the voice. Her blue eyes were wide with shock; what was he doing here? She had wondered. She knew him - well she knew of him. They had went to the same school their whole life but she didnât know him. Taking a deep breath, she held her knapsack tighter to her; she wasnât afraid of Scott McCall per-say, but he was intimidating to her and that made her uncomfortable.Â
âUh...â She started, looking around them before looking back at him. âThe-the pla-plants...â she stuttered out, taking a step away from him. âI was st-stu-studying the pla-plants.â She answered, looking down at her feet.
It wasnât every day that Holly found herself in the woods; however when she was able to she thoroughly enjoyed it. She loved being around nature, the fresh air, it helped her think. It all slowed her brain down in order for her to concentrate. She could sit there and take in all the tranquil beauty all around her. She grabbed her her sketchbook from her knapsack and she leaned against the trunk of a tree. It was oddly the perfect spot. Nothing really poking her back or her bottom as she sat down. Placing the small branch of two different Honeysuckle bushes down next to each other, Holly began sketching them.Â
It was quite fascinating really. How there was one type of Honeysuckle she had that could only be found on the United States East Coast. She wondered if someone had planted here in hopes that it could grow. Though she didnât see it working since the soil in California was different than the soil on the east coast.
While in the midst of sketching she heard a twig snap. Her head snapped up and she blew out a few stray strands of her ginger hair out of her face before looking around her. It suddenly got quiet. Holly quickly put the two plants into her bag along with her sketching materials before standing up. âGuess my-my trip is sho-short li-lived.â She mumbled to herself. Sheâs read the newspapers, seen the news on T.V. She knew she wasnât being very smart by being out in the woods during the day; not with all the disappearances and murders - though she was sure her parents wouldnât notice at all if she was gone. Standing up, she faced the direction she came in and started treading the woods in that direction, luckily she didnât go too deep into the woods. She should make it out in no time.

     Fighting with wild animals in the woods for years, hunting others to be fed, the unmanageable impacts of the full moon on her⌠No. Nothing made Maliaâs heart race like that for a long time than this math test she had to take tomorrow. She was having such a hard time focusing while she was home. The only way for her to remember at least a few things was to constantly keep her mind busy with math. On her way to school, at the lunch break, before she went to sleepâŚThat morning on her way to school, the werecoyote was humming random words and trying to remember some of the equations she memorized the night before but it was only making things more complicated in her mind. â Damn it! â She reproached just before taking a quick scan on the paper full of gibberish formulas and equations. While her eyes were on the paper and her head in the clouds, she bumped into someone and her notes got spread all over the floor. â Iâm so sorry. â The girl mumbled while leaning down to collect the papers. â I hate this. Math is so pointless. â
âItâs alri-alright.â Holly mumbled quietly as she bent down and helped the girl pick her paper up. She felt the corner of her lips turn up in a small smile. She hated math too. âI ha-hate math too-too.â She shrugged her shoulders, handing the other girl her paper. âThe math they tea-teach in in sss-sschool is...pointless.â She gave her a comforting smile. âThey should teach us-us math we cou-could actually...use.â

Sheâs considered a genius with an IQ 179.
She has a stutter.
Background;
She was born and raised in Beacon Hills. Her mom raised her by herself until she was 8, when her mom re-married. Hollyâs always asked about her biological father, but her mother always brushed it off, telling her it was a drunken mistake and he didnât matter. However the older she got, the more she realized that asking her mom anything about her dad was words falling onto deaf ears because she refused to tell Holly anything - telling her that Jeff (her step father) was her father now. Jeff was hardly her father. He had no interest in Holly what so ever, and once called her - in his words:Â âa bit of a freakâ when she was 14, so she ignored him after that.
It wasnât until her freshmen year of high school when her IQ was tested, and the results came back and the counselors had told her mom that she was considered a genius and perhaps she should skip to her senior year- however Holly didnât want that, she wanted to stay in the grade that she was because she was just Holly. She was no better, no more special, than her classmates and didnât want to be treated as such.Â
Holly tends to keep to herself mostly, as she finds it hard to talk to people due to her stutter. Sheâs gone through years of speech therapy, and while itâs helped her more now that sheâs older, she still has a stutter - its bad when shes uncomfortable, or scared, or when sheâs nervous and she ends up babbling about useless things.Â
With in the past year, a lot changed for Holly. With the body found in the woods, her mom - who was a police officer- was working more and more, and that had left her alone with her step father. He wasnât the best guardian by himself, so Holly quickly started becoming independent.Â
