If someone would have told him that he could learn to tolerate such pain, he would’ve called them out to be insane.

oh what an INTERESTING creature  ,  knowledge was so VERY limited on anything but herself.  world was so big  &&  there were just TOO many beings  ,  she was grateful he took the time to explain such a thing.  even in LITTLE detail.  “i see . .”  thankfully own transformation wasn’t PAINFUL in the slightest.  then again  ,  she hardly ever used her true form anyways.
