“Moving sucks, but I think moving in the middle of summer is a lot better than moving in the middle of winter. Can you imagine walking down porch steps with a box of fragile things and slipping on ice?” A laugh, “Ah, waking up early I suppose? I mean, I do it all the time, so much so that my body just wakes up naturally now, but I’d love to just sleep in past eleven once or twice.” 

“See, this is why I live in California! My sister moved to Utah and that scenario almost happened to us her first winter down there!” Ashley chuckled at the small memory. “I’m the opposite, I love waking up early and going to bed early! I get so much more done when I’m up early.”

“Girl, there’s businesses for that. If you need any recs let me know and I’ll send some over to you because yeah - no, I can’t stand moving. I’m really big on the whole needing stability thing. But being by the poolside sounds like a dream right about now. Other than moving? Ah, probably laundry? I feel like that’s pretty basic, but I just.. it’s a pain.”

“See, I normally use business for that. But it was just a few boxes and suitcases and I as moving into a furnished home - so do i really need a business to do it for me? No. Oh yeah, I hate doing laundry too!”

“You and I both but as a musician I learn to adapt because I’m always moving around.”

“I’m sure it’s a lot easier to adapt with that occupation! Do you tour a lot?”

i hate moving too. i thought it was a great idea, and then i got tired unpacking one box, and then sat in the middle of my closet, great idea right? benzo! missed you tons

I’ve done the same thing! It’s so easy to just sit in the middle of your closet! I missed you! How have you been?

i don’t know, i kind of like it. it’s like when you start spring cleaning and end up on the floor with a bunch of junk you forgot you had. i will say lounging by the pool sounds tempting though. how much do you have left to unpack?

I don’t mind that, I just mean when it’s so hot out and you gotta drag bags in and out! It’s very empty, with a nice blended drink! I just have my clothes, which I may leave in the suitcases for a few days.
