Single leg in the strap! This is a great dynamic exercise for low body strength and stability. I used one red spring. Focus on control and pelvic stability, working in a ROM that is comfortable and controllable for your body. *Don't forget- holiday gift certificates are available online! (at HB Pilates)
Grab a mini-stability ball and burn your abs with this great reformer exercise tonight! This exercise is great for: β Pelvic Lumbar Stability β Abdominals β People with neck pain/injuries Don't have a reformer? Don't worry! Resistance tubing- for the win! What do you take with you when you travel? βοΈ Resistance bands/tubing is my best friend when I travel because it's light, it doesn't take up much space in my suit case and it's so versatile! Back extension exercises on the ball are great because you can typically get a larger range of motion, safely. Back extension exercises overall are great for back strength and for helping correct poor posture (round back and rolled in shoulder). Another great one to add into #legday: deadlifts! There's a million ways to do these but I choose a soft bend in the knees to help me maximize my range and really burn the glutes and hamstrings! π₯π₯ Form is super duper important on these so you don't hurt your back: π« Avoid spinal flexion, round back π« Avoid lumbar hyperextension, arched low back β Keep your abs tight, shoulders back, and a nice flat back throughout. *Newbies: start with no weights or small weights in front of a mirror to check your form! π (at HB Pilates)

Inspired by @hbpilates protein balls and @advocare's Meal Replacement Shake Balls Recipe: 2 scoops Chocolate Muscle Gain Protein powder 2/3 cup all natural nut butter (I used peanut butter) 1 tbs melted coconut oil (add more for desired consistency) 1 tbs honey 1 tbs dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa powder (not pictured) Mix ingredients until fully incorporated into a cookie dough consistency. Roll into 1 tablespoon size balls. Roll in topping of choice. I used dark chocolate chips, chia seeds, and coconut flakes. Enjoy! Have you tried any of our recipes yet? Be sure to tag us when you do!
