I was just kidding, I'm not terrible. I just scrap above the line. Kidding. Half-kidding. That's the best pun I've heard all day, and honest to boot. They are beautiful, really. Classical strings and piano always get to me. The only thing that compares is a good Marimbula song. To be honest, I've never seen like, seen the strings being played live. If I did, it was buried with an orchestra down in a band pit of a musical. I've always wanted to go to a classical concert or something, at least once. If it's any condolence, I'll totally sing a quirky 80's song with you and we can do a karaoke duet.

Surprise song? Yeah, I met Jay. Just online, though, we never hooked up, or anything - actually, I’ve met up with surprisingly few people, so far. Yeah! I play cello, currently - Or, played it, up until a while ago. It’s been a few months; and I used to play guitar and I played violin in Junior High. Oh - okay, well I’m not really very good at fighting peer pressure but like, fair warning, I’m not really a singer. Why do you take it so seriously, then, if you know it’s just for fun?

Right, right, I keep forgetting you've been here longer than that. I obviously don't see you enough. Or I'm a terrible person. Either or. Maybe both. Well hey, I have a pretty low kill count here too, so no worries. Holy shit, dude. That's insane. I love the classical instruments. Vitamin String Quartet? Love that shit. I sound really undignified right now but you get the premise. I'm kidding, Jesse, I won't pressure you. It'll just be a night out if you don't wanna sing. Listening to other people sing and having one drink is still a fun night out.
I take it seriously because I taking everything that somewhat effects my career seriously. It's the same reason I wear heels whenever I go out and am never seen without make-up. My voice and my appearance are my career, and my career is my everything.

Dude! You can totally come. I'll probably need to moral support anyway. Oh God, no, I can't write songs. I usually take songs from other Broadway musicals or musicals that haven't actually been produced yet, but the songs are out there. The cheapest way to go. Honestly, I don't think I've ever publicly tried to sing a non-theatre song before.
